thats another reason why i don't do my hair myself.. mine is flat brown thats what the hairdresser said look to me it was dark brown but after few washes now i can see some red now lol but anything i put will turn a little red

that is much closer the colour i wanted...your roots are just "hot"if you do try to even it out with the rest of your length just do the roots and then pull it through at the very end of processing
