My last 3 reads were the last 3 books in a trashy series of 7 book by Laurell Hamilton A Lick of Frost Swallowing Darkness Divine Misdemeanors Someone gave me the series when I complained about the Sookie Stackhouse series. Nothing special, quick reads, and they didnt bother me like the Sookie ones did. Definitely more diverse.
I bought the Sookie Stackhouse series recently. Only because I was given a gift voucher and didn't know what to buy. So I thought...why not? Hey, I really got it for free after all. LOL Never heard anything about the series other than it was made into a tv series. I've read a little of the first one and it's a bit...ummm....badly written. Not as bad as twilight though. How that got published, as it is, is something I will never understand. Currently I'm reading the Dexter series. I just finished the 2nd book "Dearly Devoted Dexter" and am reading the third "Dexter in the Dark". I HIGHLY recommend the Dexter series. Jeff Lindsey is a genius! Terry Pratchett will always be my favourite author, but JL is coming a close second. Brilliant!!!!!!!
Yeah, I read the Sookie ones because I watch Trueblood too. I read the Dexter ones after season one. Might have to reread them or check if anything new is out. I enjoyed the Dexter ones too.

My latest two book that I have read are The Other Boleyn Girl by: Phillipa Gregory And Someone Has To Die Tonight by:Jim Greenhill The second one is about a gang here in my home town. They were just a bunch of teenage misfits. They burned down our old Coke building. (I belive remenants are still standing. I can't recall as I haven't been that way in awhile.) They also killed the band teacher at my former high school. ETA: I thought it was still standing, but they tore it down not long after it was burnt down.
