I think it's just a bad cold, though, thankfully. Working tonight was really annoying with all the sinus congestion, uuuugh. It's straight on into finishing two major final projects tomorrow and the rest of the weekend and all the way into Wednesday. Then I'm FREE! Sunday we're heading to Dallas to spend Christmas and my birthday with his mom and hopefully get to see ChosenOne a bit before he heads back to Florida.

I can't wait til break, I neeeeed it omg. My brain is so fried and all I see are polygons. lol

Hope everyone is going to at least be with family and/or special people for the holidays. I don't get religious about it, but I do think it's a great time to spend with family and loved ones. I'm missing my family, so everyone who gets to spend Christmas and my birthday with family you better hug em a little bit extra for those of us who are so far from home!

Hope them finals go well for you, DH. And hope that cold gets under control, too. I think I'm sick, again!!! Just got over a 2 week cold like 2 weeks ago.

Poor dear, that's exactly how it's been happening to everyone I know. One of my teachers was bad off with a cold, then she got better, now she's worse than she was before...and it's only been a week or so. -_- For your sake I hope you're not as sick as she is....she was so bad i can't believe she was even trying to work!

Off subject- I think you'd like that teacher. She's a cute azn lady. She's from Taiwan, but she so reminds me of those bubbly japanese girls. lol She used to make video games for a living, too. Sadly, she's married, or I'd soooo hook you up :D

What's been happening? I don't really have internet again yet and I'm sitting outside in the snow where I found a signal, so my little fingers are cold and my butt too. So this is all I'm going to say for now. Tell me what I've missed...

I had two 2nd dates this weekend. I'm really liking them both. :smt077

Saturday, I spent the day with one. We drove to downtown Chicago and walked around a bit and then headed to the Art Institute and walked around and talked until they closed. Then we went to dinner and did lots more talking. We kissed at the end of the night. He's a good kisser. We plan on seeing each other again.

Today, I drove to the other guy's house. Don't worry, ladies, I am fully aware about my safety and this guy, well, there's no issue, he's a good guy. I had no worries about going there. Anyway, we went out to lunch and then we went back to his place and watched a movie and cuddled on his couch. We didn't have a whole lot of time, so he didn't want to spend it going to see a movie. We kissed a bit. He's also a good kisser. We also plan on seeing each other again. Oh, and he knows I had a date on Saturday.

I've never done this before, and I'm seeing how difficult it will be to decide which one I would like to get to know on a deeper level. But who knows? Maybe it won't even be one of these guys. LOL. Only time will tell.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying the slow pace of how things are going with both of them. The last thing I want is to jump headfirst into a potentially bad relationship. They both give off such good vibes and they've both been very, very good boys, which I like.

So, that's that. More later as the dates happen. :smt026

I can not wait for the 15 of january this is the day we going to bring home the little kitten.

We went today and saw the kitten she is beautiful on the photo dont look that great i thought she was nice thats all but when i saw the kitten today she looked better was very playful and very very small she is about 8 week

I've always been attracted to black guys. I'm not exclusively attracted to black guys, though. I've dated white guys, latinos, and asians, as well.

I'm one of those women that if I find the guy attractive, I find him attractive, regardless of his skin color.
 
i'm shattered. spent most of last week celebrating christmas with different groups of friends and was up for work at 5am yesterday morning. it's my daughters last day at kindergarten today & their christmas concert, so i'm packing my kleenex, and my son has his christmas carols this evening in the gardens at school so a picnic is required. i think i may actually be celebrated out...!!!! is that possible...??? it can't be...!!! i've got more get togethers all week into the weekend & then hosting christmas lunch here.

Got my financial aid check yesterday. After I pay my mom back for books and tires, I'm buyin' clothes. Gonna start rockin' plaid in this muthafucka!!! Gotta stock up on Dickies and NWA/Eazy-E shirts. And gotta buy a new sub. Mine's blown. :smt095

Poor Tarshi!! Hopefully you get some relaxation in before the holiday so you won't be too tuckered out! Congrats to both of your little ones. :rolleyes:
 
DAMN IT! I'm mourning in anger right now! :smt088 My beloved cat, Rovin the cat, he has been killed by the car. The heartless driver didn't ever bother to stop there! I knew it from the very beginning that I tried my best to save them from meeting their death as I tried to warned my grandmother!

Now that force me to take Goldie away from her. I'm seriously thinking about going back to New Jersey.
