soooooo joan, does this mean more dates...???? think its chat time mrs...!!! need more details of your dating life please...!!! you free now...???
LOL. As a matter of fact, I do have some dates this weekend. ;-) And I should be cleaning, but what the hey, I can chat right now.
ahhh sweet relief. my 90 year old grandmother was taken to hospital on tuesday, they thought she'd had a stroke (believe the ol' girl parties too hard...too many late nights down the rsl). they've found the problem with her heart & are adjusting her medication, so she'll be with us another christmas...!!! the battle axe has beaten 2 bouts of cancer and the death of my grandfather in the last 6 years and still is going strong. on a side note...how can a doctor suggest open heart surgery for a 90 year old...???? honestly...!!!! i appreciate all the hard work and patience the doctors and nurses put in with looking after my old fashioned, racist & very righteous grandmother, but open heart surgery at 90 years of age...??? UTTER MADNESS...!!! and it should also be noted that every doctor she has had in the last 6 years who have saved her life have either been asian or black...!!!
Hmmm.. That sounds like my adopted grandmother! Joking aside, Im glad the surgery was twarted, thats just plain silly and dangerous... Im glad she is pulling through! 1 year ago, we thought my grandmother was having a stroke too since she was completely confused and not acting right - turns out she was very over medicated with none of her doctors communicating or even taking a look at what the other was prescribing.... She survived so much stuff and it was good to see (I got pictures, she is in Sweden) that she had her 90th birtday Nov 6th, walking around being her impossible self Im so happy for you Tarshi love... we like to have them as long as we can in as good as shape as we can expect.
I fuckin' hate when the doctors over-medicate people. My mom's got MAD amounts of medicine. She has this huge bag of empty pill bottles. It's like suitcase status.
thanks BA...!!! ahhhh wifey...so much in common...!!! my grandmother turned 90 on the 9th of november...!!! so glad that yours is doing well
Glade she is doing well. :smt038 I unfortunately lost my "GG" as I called her 2 years ago, she was only 83 but she fought till the end... Broke my heart.... So honestly I am happy for you... Now I must be going off to bed to get some sleep, as I have a long long plane trip tomorrow...
Just ate a gorgeous 120gms of chicken breast that I prepped and grilled in the Foreman myself, I have my butcher cut them into 1/2" thick steaks so the meat is nice and white (I love white meat, boom-shish-bahhh!), BUT.... There was a teeny piece that was pink, albeit on the outside...I saw it as I removed it from the microwave, I tore it off, no bigger than a toenail clipping but I put it on one side of the plate, and now I've finished the steak, oh Lord I can't see it any more!! So if my post average abruptly drops from 5.46 per day to zero...well, it'll have been nice knowing you all, and I hope at least 1-2% of white girls will have kids with WM, so my nephews too, and their sons after them, can enjoy some special eye candy like their uncle did... :smt059
thanks curley...you lovely woman you...!!! now can we please get to the bolded section of your note...!!! long long plane trip...???? excuse me, but where are you off to...???? hope its a wonderful holiday curley...!!!! want photos & details when you return please :smt003
