Things are crazy and I am working like a maniac 14 15 hour days but I am busy and enjoying it

The weather has finally started to change so it is nice to go outside without melting....it is down to 35-36 instead of 42-43

I am swimming a lot and training for a half marathon when I have the time

Counting the days until I can get home for the holidays to see the man. Yes we are still together and trying to make this work over the ocean. It is tough but we shall see where it goes

..ok, so me and Nate had just finished a rather passionate bout of love-making (read: some -great- fuckin' >.>) and were lying together, naked, cuddling, exhausted, and breathless.

I forgot a very important thing, however. My friend Pedro had said about an hour earlier he was gonna come over at some point. He chose that exact moment (thank god it wasn't 5 minutes prior, though!!!) to walk right into my room.

It was hilarious. We heard the door open, gave each other a quick "...ohhh shit we're still naked o.o!!!", terrified glance, and then simultaneously said "Nononono" over and over until he backed out. I was only saved by the mini hallway between my door and my bathroom/sink area.


Regardless, it was still pretty awkward with Pedro for a while after that.

I need a lock on that damn door. lmao

 

I miss you too! How are things? Saved any lives lately?

On a whim, I decided to join an online dating site Sunday night. It's my first time. I broke my online dating site cherry. LOL.

I've already run into my first (and hopefully last) woman-hating psychopath. LOL. Wow.

There are some crazy messed up people out there. It's a shame to see how one person's behavior in a relationship can destroy another person's life so completely that they can't see the forest through the trees. It's very sad.

On a high note, I am talking to a couple of guys who have not raised my red flag radar yet. They seem rather benign and nice. So, we'll see how it goes.

In either case, I'm having fun. If nothing else, I'll have some stories to tell. :smt042

So, first night on the job tomorrow. Excited, a wee nervous but not too much. Might take a pic in my uniform tomorrow...If I had a jacket it'd be a complete tuxedo. lol Nate says I look cute in it. I say I look like a lesbian on her wedding day in it. haha.

Zombie walk on saturday!!! It's a charity thing...with a zombie theme. The idea: bunch of random people get dressed up as zombies, donate things to local charities, and then shamble down the sidewalk as zombies. In character actions (aside from the actual flesh eating part) is encouraged.

Immediately following: zombie movie marathon.

I love Halloween.

Oh lunch with the girls that sounds nice,,,,,,, As for me, I am home with a one year old baby girl that I am a Respite carer for now, the poor little darling has been in and out of foster homes since she was born. I have her until Sunday and today I have to take her into see the social workers for her supervised one hour visit with her biological mother. I won't have her much however, I am just the emergency relief carer for her appointed carers for when they need a break plus I work so I can't be called upon too much. Bless her little heart...

 

That poor darling. Give her an extra hug for me when she leaves on Sunday.

Yep, you know I gotta be a zombie! I'm excited to put my special fx make up tricks to use, finally! Rarely do I celebrate Halloween...I'm usually working! lol I can paint some impressive wounds with simple craft paint, too, apparently...haven't decided on a theme yet. It depends on what old clothes I can get rid of, cause all that fake blood stains like a mofo.

Getting a pretty good sized group of friends to tag along...there should be plenty of epic zombie pics when it's all over. lol
