Funny that you mention Pittsburgh, I heard it was hardcore racist area but that was almost 20 years ago.

    How things change.

As for white women liking hip hop and rap of course some of them love it. It just that it must drive their parents crazy to see the ones that bring them home.

The entire style of tattoos he has on his face are prison style. He is emulating prison culture.

Did anyone see the show they had on him where he told the story about shooting himself when he was a little boy? Said it made him cool at school and around the neighborhood.

It may be a part of prison culture(it's a part of gang culture, as well), but you don't have to go to prison to get them. The tear tats can mean, you've killed somebody, or had a loved one killed. The tear tat doesn't mean they are tying to claim, or look like they've been to prison.

Kind of sad for someone to emulate the prison culture. it's almost like writing your own future.

See people keep getting that fucked up, Hood culture and prison culture
couldnt be anymore different. Hood culture is about the freedom of expression of militant and street smart african americans that has molded being poor and ghetto into a surviving comfortable lifestyle. example of that is somethin like when I wanted to see "Tales From The Hood" but couldnt, my grandma got us the bootleg and I saw it anyway. Maybe bootleg but I got to see it. Hood people shape poor livings into surviving, cool, comfortable lifestyle. The best way to see that is go to a block party in the hood, those parties are ghetto as hell, weed smokin, liquor being passed out and sold, people showin up with they kids, dice games on the porch, card games in the kitchen, thugs, playas, playboys, dimepieces with booty, hoodrats with attitude, stereo outside bumpin for the whole neighborhood to hear, and going on until like 2 in the morning, but you know what we have a good time, have stories to tell, get our drink on the whole nine. People dont want to live in the hood because its poor and it has fools going around killing innocent people but we love our hood culture.

Prison culture is simply built for fools who dont care about freedom, its modern slavery, and for grown ass people who needs supervision and stay paranoid all the time, cant live free lifestyle, got to live a caged lifestyle.
Some learn, Some dont, plain and simple.

Guy, I seen my first prison face tattoos as a child. I know what he is sportin. You might want to try and pretend it aint what it is, but it is.

The whole violent/thug/prison culture thing isnt something I saw in TV. So dont get it twisted. Idolizing and emulating something so foul is pretty distasteful to me because I seen to much. Was five years old when I saw my cousin get shot in the head. Saw a dude get wound up in a wheel well of a car getting chased by a drug dealer. Had my best girlfriend get shot in the thigh and bleed out right beside me. So you will have to excuse me if I dont find "Lil" Wayne anything but a punk. Shit aint cute.

And trying to pretend you a big guy cause you shot your own ass is silly.

I dont know what you talking about, I was stating the difference between
hood culture and prison culture, so anybody wont get THAT TWISTED!
Because Im hood culture and I dont want to get blasted on here for people mistaking me for emulating prison culture which is somethin I dont.

I didnt address the tat on the face thing, The only reason I quoted you because part of my style was getting turned into being called prison culture on here and wanted to set the record straight, but regardless though, NO WHERE DID I MENTION IN MY POST ANYTHING ABOUT HIS TATTOOS!!!! but let me do that before shit
pop off in the wrong way again, first it is known that tats on the face is, especially tear drop tats are gang related and prison related, you cant say
everybody with a tattoo on the face is a gangster and convict, some people are super artistic like that and others are just flat out crazy and thats the TRUTH!!!

And I have expressed my views on on violence especially on here, it is
somethin I am totally against, so I say to you, YOU DONT GET IT TWISTED, REALIZE WHO YOU TALKIN TO, WHAT YOU TALKIN ABOUT AND UNDERSTAND WHERE KENY G IS COMIN FROM BEFORE YOU POP OFF AT ME! I WAS RAISED AROUND THUGS AND THIEVES AND JAILBIRDS AND SHIT, I KNOW THE STREETS LIKE THE BACK OF MY
FUCKIN HAND, I KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IM TALKIN ABOUT.... REALIZE WHAT I WAS DOING BEFORE YOU GO THERE, I DIDNT SAY SHIT ABOUT THE NIGGAS TATTOO RELATIONS.

THAT WHY MUTHAFUCKERS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS, BEFORE THEY THINK THEY KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS TALKIN ABOUT, SHIT MUTHAFUCKERS ACT LIKE THEY CANT ASK A FUCKIN QUESTION!

Most people believe there is NO difference in Hood Culture and Prison Culture even though each has taken from each other.

The problem is when both cultures want to be accepted in the general society. For instance, when you go for an interview at say, Microsoft, IBM or Apple wearing hood clothes and tattoos I guarantee you will not even be consider for hire.

LOL. You got issues and it aint even with what I said. I NEVER said too much about what you were talking about cause I was talking about what I wanted to say. Get it? Nah, you aint gonna because you too busy getting offended cause someone talking about some ignorant celebrity.

Lil Wayne is really, really ignorant. I heard the stuff right out of his own mouth. He thinks because he shot himself as a VERY YOUNG CHILD he is cool. When he got those face tattoos, he didnt go for something like Games or even Mike Tyson. He went for a very specific type, a type that came right out of the prison.

Or we can pretend he didnt. Dont really care anymore.

That was such an uneducated response right there, but thats what happens when you think you know what your talking about. First foremost educate yourself buddy, prison culture and street gang culture take from each other, the only thing you can have credible evidence of the hood culture taking fashion wise is the hangin pants look, but you know what you could also go tell car mechanics they taking from prison culture as well with their jump suits or whiteboys with the shaved heads they taking from the skinheads, or any man who wears sleevless shirts must support men who beat their wives, or tell steve harvey and cedric the entertainer to put away their pimp suits because they are emulating pimp culture. I have never seen a prisoner with nike airs, roc a wear jeans and a NY fitted cap with a diamond studded watch. Didnt know you was allowed to dress like that in prison.

And if anybody is stupid enough to go into a interview for a job like that
dressed in THEIR EVERYDAY CLOTHES. Then you are just as stupid as they are, because why would someone with that fuckin amount of sense obviously with the college education and know it all to get an interview for a job like that walk up in that interview NOT dressed to impress, Oh they smart enough to get the interview but not smart enough to dress the part, you just insulted educated brothas out there. Like I said
EDUCATE yourself my brotha before you speak, YOU SOUND STUPID!!

Just like anywhere else in this world there are The Good and The Bad. The Bad part of the hood is the violence, gangs, poverty, backstabbers, prostitution, convicts, missing fathers.
The Good is the survivors, go getters, hustlers, street smart people, unity amongst blacks, marches against violence, strong mothers, and more importantly FAMILY.

What you are doing is getting the good twisted with the bad, because you
want to do what a whole alot of others do and that is judge based on appearances and what you hear, instead of what you know. My grandfather (god rest his soul.) was a manager at his job that required him
to wear a suit, but when he go home, especially on his days off he loved his sleeveless white Ts and a bottle of Jack Daniels and used to sit in the kitchen especially on friday nights, drinking and talking with his buddies. And when he would go out he used to put on his gators, have grandma iron the nicest suit and he would put on his jaxon blues crushable fedora hat. And him and his buddies dressed the same way would kick it at the bar, and get drunk. But I guess to you he would be nothing but a woman beater and pimp.

Its fucking fashion you can say it came from prison culture all you want,
but if you look at african tribes and alot of the american black fashion, I see we are doing what is in our ancestry and that is make a fashion statement and be cool, you may not like where it comes from, but blacks have been doing it for years, you may not like some of the fashion statement case in point the hood clothes, but you know what rather it is from prison or not it is a fashion trend, somethin blacks have been doing for years, since of they days of african tribes.

Oh I got you loud and clear, you obviously dont like my kind of black people and I see that, because you seem to get offended by me calling
you on the the one gettin it twisted. I never once said the prison culture was cute, I never once said anything about his prison tattoo, in fact I never mentioned lil wayne, I was talking about hood culture & prison culture genius. How am I gettin offended over someone talkin about someone I never mention.

    fly girl wrote:
You responded to me over the fuckin prison tattoo and lil wayne, two things I never mentioned in that post asshole. Your seeing ghost.

Your excusing yourself and tellin me shit about prison culture I have mentioned and never once defended. I plain and simple put out a difference between the 2 and you went off on somethin I never mentioned. You cant read you get it twisted, because you obviously have a very narrow, close minded, prejudice mind.
