LOL KG!! I LOVE that new quote in your sig.

How was that series? A friend of mine (who is as big an HP nerd as I am, actually a bigger one) read the first book in the Twilight series and was unimpressed. She said the book was all about how hot the vampire was....

I'm probably going to attempt to read that series anyway, but wanted your opinion, as well.

Oh, my. I LOVED the series. Read all of them in 6 days. They are all about 900 pages each! I couldn't put it down. Honestly, she did refer to him as beautiful, often...but it's not overpowering, IMO. It's from her POV, and well, you know when you're in love you see past any flaws. I recommend it, absolutely.

    Wow!! That's alot of reading.

I like to make up my own mind on things, anyway, but it's good to get a different perspective on things. I think I'll see about getting the first one at the library and checking it out.

    :D

Good plan. Normally, if I can read farther than the first page without my mind wandering, it's gonna be good. lol

My teenagers are reading these and passing them back and forth the way I used to read and swap comics. I had to shush them at the dinner table last night because they were talking and acting out characters...getting loud and annoying their Pop!

Mrs. Nose reminded me that I should be happy they are spending at least a part of their summertime reading.

Oh, and they didn't like the movie at all.

Oooh. I read a lot but mostly borrow the books from the church library especially since I do honorary work there now.Lol. So I don't know the ENglish titles.I read them all in German.
A friend borrowed me "The tales of breedle the bard now"though by Joan K.Rowling. He knows I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and thought I may like this book
