Yeah, I can't handle long distance. Every time I've tried it's failed, so I don't enter into those type of relationships very easy. And he lives in the same apartment complex with me. Hell, he sleeps at my house almost every night. lol And I certainly am not complaining. I love it. We already saw a lot of each other before we got together...we were pretty close friends. He started sleeping over (platonically) a few weeks before we decided to try a relationship...so it was pretty logical that he'd sleep over even more once we were official. lol
Oh that's whatsup.Starting out as platonic friends is good because you respect one another,know a bit about them and when it does become more it's usually not for sexual reasons only. Oh yeah, friends first is a good idea, but it led to a lot of frustration cause neither of us had the balls to make the first move for a long time. lol It was getting to the point where I was just gonna say "hey, if you only like me as a friend we gotta stop hanging out, cause I like you waaay more than that..."...but I didn't wanna ruin the friendship, cause he's crazy fun to be around, so I kept quiet. But eventually he brought it up, thank god. It was all a damn misunderstanding on my part anyhow. I didn't notice the signs, and I was convinced he wasn't interested in girls like me...he told me, when I mentioned that, that he'd thought he didn't even have a chance with a girl like me. It was so sweet...made me blush like crazy! lol And I know how you feel...girl, that's like where I used to live! Only guys around for miles were rednecks, and the vast majority of them were either ugly, had nothing going for them, had zero aspirations, no intelligence, or all of the above. All the good ones are generally married by age 18 there. lol The rest? They move off and go to college far, far away. ...and there are no black guys period. That kinda sucks, too. lol

I'm back from vacation! So much fun! Montana was amazing...loved the weather! When I landed in Oklahoma last night, I took a deep breath and I was drenched in humidity! :smt099 I needed to get away! Oh and I found out my ex (you know the one I was crying over for months) got his fiancee pregnant...so that was another knife to the chest. Especially since he talked about kids with me...oh well. I take my DAT on Saturday so I'm pretty nervous about that...the closer it gets the less prepared I feel! I need a drink!
glad to hear montana was fabulous! my son is up there right now visiting the grandparents...he thinks he is the big man on campus hanging out in their small town...working at the fireworks stand...driving his 4 wheeler around town... enjoy that drink that LA made you...fairly soon you are going to be in a situation where you look back and realize why you aren't with that guy anymore...then we will have another drink:drinkers:
Too many holidays. I have been abusing myself with far too much alcohol and no exercise. My poor liver was shaking this morning. It has been great seeing my friends but I need a rest. I have done NOTHING today....NOTHING but lay on the couch and whimper.
