I do not understand the logic behind supporting Biracial people who are offended when people insist that they claim only the race they look most like, and simultaneously insisting that Biracial people cannot claim one race or the other, because they look obviously mixed. There's no consistency there.

After researching. I can't believe white people have weak genes. So we cancel out there genes? I never knew that. I always thought it was 50/50. Damn...how does the white man feel about this??? Talk about huge blow to their masculinity. Is that why white man created the one drop rule?

People that back up the "weak genes" thing are either from the NOI or racist site. Each one says either white men or black men have shit genes. Human genetics are really much more complicated than that.

It's kinda hard to do proper research on the internet unless you're using proper, backed up resources.

You are the one who is being inconsistent. You say that Biracial people get mad when you demand that they pick one race or another based on how they look, and so people shouldn't do that, but then you say that Biracial people should be required to identify as Biracial because that's how they look. You're the one not choosing sides.

I've chosen a side. I side with the rights of Biracial people.

I'm Biracial

I'm Biracial Mothers White & Father is Black & Native American ..

I Look Black , But My Hair is very much like Most Biracial people its Between Black Negro & White Hair & It Grows very Fast so My hair is very Long & curly .

been raised by A White mother I was tought to Embrace Both Cultures as a Young child . I however been Biracial & Having Good Hair as Black folks say , In school even High school I was treated very poorly by Black girls who wanted to Beat my ass because I didn't look like them & have Nappy kinky hair like them & in high school I dated A Star Football Player who was Black & The Black girls hated it .

So I stuck to hanging & befriending Mostly White & Native Americans
& most of my Friends are mostly White girls Or American Indian mainly due to the Treatment I got from Black Females .

I however don't Dislike BLack Females but I do not hang around them much only a few & if I do hangout with A black girl Shes Not pure BLack.

 

I didn't read the whole thread, so this may have been said already - and apologies if this is the case.

I think the answer to this is rather simple.
1. A person's genetics are what they are. And let's not get started on that debate again.
2. "white" or "black" is in reference to culture as much as (and probably more than) anything else.
3. A biracial person can be whatever they identify with. Black, white or biracial. As can any other person.

What are you going to presuppose about a biracial person?

Just treat them like a human and then, if you don't like them...leave. And if you do, then stay.

Personally, I would default to referring to a mixed race person as a mixed race person, until they tell me otherwise.
