Fictional IR Couples

It's interesting to note that there are considerably more white male/black female couples than black male/white female couples.

Maybe we could add to this if you know of any others.

 

Another fictional couple that's quite recent is on UK soap Coronation Street. A new guy on the show called Ben is interested in Sophie (Webster). They're both about 16. They're set to be quite a nice couple though as he's religious and she takes a chastity vow for him.

Another three BM/WW couples I can think of are on Hollyoaks, another awesome UK soap. They are (characters names) Danny Valentine and Hannah Ashworth and Carmel McQueen and Calvin Valentine (brother to Danny). Both Danny and Calvin are biracial as they are the product of a BM/WW relationship also.

There was a Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin type couple on the movie Across the Universe.

Hmm. I'm not sure of Cloak and Dagger (from Marvel comics) being classified as a couple, though. I could be wrong, since I've not read many of the comics, but I've been under the impression that the two simply have a deep and profound friendship.

Also I'm not even sure Cloak has a real body. I think he's more of a and sometimes arms with a great expanse of crazy darkness under his cloak. *L*




hmmm, let's see...

On the show Weeds the main character, Nancy, has this crazy sexual/romantic tension going on with Conrad, and eventually they sleep together, but I was so disappointed when Conrad was written out of the following season after he banged Nancy. I was hoping they were finally going to explore the relationship that was obviously brewing between the two from the beginning, but alas, nothing. Nancy preferred to bang white DEA agents instead, that retard. Everyone knows if you sell drugs you don't bang DEA agents!

Hmmm. In a comic book I've been working on, sporadically, for a few years now the main character falls in love with a black superhero, but I guess that doesn't fully count since it's not published yet. *L*



She falls in love with a hero who looks remarkably like Djimon Hounsou, because that's who I modeled him after. I seem to have deleted the images I had of him in my gallery, though, so I can't show off the character I'll have to do a few new ones of him anyhow.

but from "across the pond" I've just started watching reruns of :smt071MI-5 and like the IR tandem of David Oyelowo & Keeley Hawes who play spy "flatmates"/lovers-parents Danny & Zoe.

 

This couple is from ages ago off Eastenders, how could you forget THE JACKSONS from the Mid 90s.

Isn't Eastenders like a soap opera? So, then I could get away with adding Noah & Julia, from All My Children in the '90's.
