I like the flats, I wear them all the time. So comfy and cheap! :D

I didn't even know you could buy shoes for $20! Most of my heels cost around £30-£60. The most I've spent on shoes was either the boots I got for £70ish or the Nike's at the same price. Most sneakers I have cost around £50 in Schuh, Footlocker or Office. Hell, Jake's sneakers (his new Adidas Superstars) cost £35. I need to get me some cheap shoes. I spend way too much on em :smt101.

Yep, that sounds about right as far as the name brands go here too. I'd rather buy shoes at Wal-Mart, Meijer, Max 10, Goodwill, etc, and save those monies for more important stuff :D But that's just me and how I am. I'm a penny pincher, LoL ;)

Fellow penny pincher here hun, you are not alone, my Nike slip ons were 20 quid in the nike outlet shop bought 2 pairs, i don't even look unless there is a sale on, can't bear to pay full price or pay over the odds for something i can buy somewhere else that looks the same half the price. :D

I love charity shops, keep searching and you find something top notch for an absolute pittance.:D

I'm with you girls on inexpensive shoes. I'll have to take a couple of pics. In the winter I usually wear low black pumps from KMart (OMG if my mother ever heard that!) And my absolute fav shoes are these cute black low healed sandals with a bow of sorts on the front. They came from Mervyns and I loved them so much I went back and got 3 more pairs of them. Ok I guess I'll have to get to taking some pics.

Well now KnCA.........you just knew you would have to hear from me with this thread........like a grizzly bear, I went into hibernation during these cold, rough winter days.......but you smoked my out of my den with this assortment of pictures.
I particularly like your personal contribution to the variety.
The way your feet fit in those shoes, deserves a double take.....I would even take them without the shoes. I am sorry for being so explicit, but those tempered ankles and flared calves also compliment your footwear---don't change anything honey!

LOL - it's the exact same as the avatar...just cropped and in color.

    But thanks.

On average I spend about $1-$2 a pair for shoes at places like the Salvation Army thrift store, and Goodwill. Sometimes as much as 4 bucks, but usually less than that. I got a pair of never been worn Mudd boots with chunky heels (they're a lovely tan colour, too) for 4 dollars right before I moved to Houston. My favorite sandals cost a dollar, and so did my favorite wedge slides.

The two new pair I got are the most expensive shoes I've had in a long time. The black pumps cost 25 dollars (mom got em for my birthday) and the gold/bronze wedges...hm. I'm not sure, but probably about 10 bucks. My shiny stillettos are the only shoes I've paid a double digit price for (as in I bought them myself) since I was in high school, and they were $15 at Ross.

I'm with Francie and Britty. I'm tellin ya, any given day my clothing + shoes and accessories all together would probably cost lest than 50 bucks. People tell me my clothes look a lot more expensive :D And they usually are, just bought on sale!

My mom bought me an entire new wardrobe..shoes, 4 lovely skirts, and 5 shirts, -and- a wonderful jacket for around 70 dollars total. I get my shopping skillZ from my momma!

O.K. Woman!........You are just hell bent on messing with my head aren’t you.
Your latest avatar change was specifically designed to torment me.
The fact that I can't be: butt-ass naked ,in that bath water, at the other end of that tub, getting an up-close face full of what I relish.....is just down right unfair. This is not how you treat a friend trying to deal with a ferocious fetish like mine.......Incidentally......As Hannibal lector would say to agent starling " I like that fresh sparkling coat of polish you have applied on those on those very sexy toes"

wow, that's cool! Since I don't have a full time job I need to be cheap too, I dress at the chinese's store lol, or H&M or Tally Wejl (european chains). But here in Italy.... shoes for 1-2-3-4-5 euros??? U don't even buy half with that money :(. I got some sneakers for 12-15 euros, and that's the cheapest thing I found, at the chinese store. Anyways, my feet r idiots and seem to need only expensive shoes, unless I want to have them bleeding all the time.
The price is not always a sign of quality, but I must admit that "Made in Italy" shoes r the best so far. I think that my most expensive shoes r my leather boots, 149 euros. If u have sensitive feet and u want to have good dress shoes u must spend at least 60 euros. I'm a fan of skater shoes though, for every day, and I usually find them on sale for 39-35 euros on half price. I have 5 pair of them in different colors and models. They r so comfortable and they r great with baggy jeans and for dancing :D
I really need to take some pic sof them :D

In summer it's easier, I can wear almost everything that doesn't have heels. I wear sandals etc. For things with heels... I need expensive things again.

Italian Shoes are legend, the stuff of dreams to other Europeans, i agree it is hard to find a bargain but keep looking i assure you they are there.

You mentioned H&M, i personally do not think they are that cheap, even kids clothes are exspensive in there the same price as Zara (another euro chain) so i prefer to go in there. :D:D

Sure that's right...all done just to mess with you! :smt074

Nah, that's just a pleasant by-product. That photo is an old one that was up on here for some time before you came along. It's been up and down along the way. Actually it's the one that started the different avatars I've posted along the way that aren't just straight photos.

Men with an appreciation for feet can be sooooooo much fun! Just depends on how much of an appreciation...but that's probably something better left to a private conversation. BTW - I'm not a girl with high arches...sorry to disappoint :(

    (oh and...nice photos sir!)

I don't know, H&M has pants for 19-29-39 euros and it's the cheaper place I can find here, besides the chinese stores (now I am too fat for chinese sizes!!! :()
Camailleu is very good also. We have Zara too somewhere here but it's only for anoressic ppl and it's not that cheap.

Yeah your right Zara does not cater to bigger sizes but there Large tops usually fit, not there trousers.
I got a lovely mixed silk tunic out of there in the sale it was just under £20, but i know what you mean shorty, for once i found some great fitting jeans i had to buy 2 pairs because its hard to find a pair that grips in the right places and look good.

Right back to shoes, sorry knca :D

Hmm H&M is a great deal cheaper than somewhere like Topshop I think. Jeans in H&M are around £20-30 in Topshop they're £45+.
I usually shop in the above 2 stores and New Look, and for basic things sometimes Primark, cheap as chips! Good for baby clothes too.

    No worries.

It's tough to find good fitting jeans. I've about worn out my fav pair.

I keep saying that I'll be glad to get out of the big girl store so it's easier to find well fitting clothes. But then my daughter reminds me it's tough no matter what size.

I like primark aswell, its all about mix and match really, but i think H&M really is not that cheap and never inspires me ie there selection does not go BUY ME, BUY ME so drab and we have got a pretty big one in Bluewater and Maidstone.

Zara is cheap at sale time, kids clothes are excellent, there is some great stuff that you just cant get elsewhere in there, Gap for Kids Coats is Fab got my girl a silver satin lined Velvet coat for going to parties and stuff its so cute :D

Right defo back to shoes lol

(I must admit...I have a preference for black shoes too!)
