The thing is some brothers believe if a celebrity gets with a black dude,that all white women will suddenly go "Damn I gotta get me the 2008 model". I say get with the ones that don't need celebrity endorsement to date a brother.

They're in lust.

She lusts after his money and looks while he lusts after her youth and looks.

She's all about convenience.

No way in hell is she--or any other girlfriend of his--attracted to him.

They're attracted to the wealth and fame.

Hank Baskett is a come-up. As long as she's married to him for at least 3 years or so, she's good. If anything fails in the relationship--worst comes to worst--she can "cash out" and take 1/2 of his wealth.

Not saying that those are her intentions but, it is a plus. It's convenient.

And if she has a baby by him, cha-ching.

Now, I know I'm being pessimistic about this and I'm over-analyzing but let's keep it real.

How many times have we seen this happen?? (Too many to keep track of).

For the people wondering if she's marrying Hank for his money and riches, i'm kinda confused by that. Hank isn't even a starting caliber wide receiver on the most receiver deprived team in the NFL. He's a decent pro, but i wouldn't be surprised if he was out of the league in 2 or 3 years. I seriously doubt that Hank is just pouring in the dough.

According to Sports Illustrated, Hank Baskett is making $451,000 dollars a year. That is, by far, one of the LOWEST salaries in all of sports. There are financial advisors that will triple Baskett's income this year.

To give you an idea of how low Baskett is paid, the best athletes at his position can get paid as much as 6 million dollars a year. Baskett, a player that is lucky to be in the league and someone that may be released next year, will never see this kind of money.

I live near Philly and am able to watch Baskett play. He's in the league only because Philadelphia failed to find barely above average performers at his position.

There is NO WAY any woman that is seeking riches will ever marry Baskett. Even on Baskett's team, there are athletes making 20 times his salary. You could find a senior manager working for Comcast that makes more money than Baskett.

Again, he's very lucky that he even has a contract.

These two may be in lust. But, her lust is definetely not tied to his income alone.

You and Bryant are dead on. This isn't a Hall of Fame OJ Simpson type of dude. Any other team in the NFC East would have gotten rid of him..the Eagles have a fetish for average wide receivers. They may have finally struck rich with DeSean Jackson..and even he will need to pack on 20 or 30 lbs to keep from getting his body tore to pieces.

Seriously though, blonde haired pinups for wives is so played out. That should have went out of style with high-top fades, gold rims, S-Curl activator, giant boom boxes, car phones, Yo MTV Raps, calling Bill Clinton the first black president, The Arsenio Hall Show, Def Comedy Jam and feeling the need to spend $150 on some fresh Jordan's....and yes I did say the word "fresh"....can't believe I even remember that!
