We aren't lol but why are YA'LL. As much as I hate what I'm seeing over there, I'm hoping it forces more Americans to move to Australia.

And then you'll get a "share of brothers" soon. I often thought about heading over in my twenties.

Had you seen that FB page about Black expats in Australia? Interesting. To my surprise none of them visit the Jack Johnson site at Rushcutter's Bay in Sydney.

I'm a weirdo I don't have fb. So I haven't seen it, but love the sound of it :)

Are you giving serious thought to going over?

I hope so in the future. Plus l will post only one photo of the location where Jack Johnson fought against Tommy Burns on Boxing Day 1908.

I have wanted to go for a while. I dated an Aussie when I was 19 and that was quite an experience. I always wanted to go see the place firsthand before I punch my ticket.

Wished you kept in touch with her. I wished to get in touch of my Aussie ex.

A few years ago I googled her and found out she had passed away after an accomplished career. She was thirteen years older. I always wonder what would have happened between us if we had gone the distance together.

I'm sorry for your loss. Life is a lot of what if. My ex was almost killed in that shooting in Tasmania. I was shocked when she told me.

Thanks. She was a great person, with a keen mind and a quick wit, but we were together when I was far from ready and still in undergrad. I'm glad your ex was safe in that shooting. How often did you too communicate?

Everything I have seen of Oz in films has fascinated me, from the mix of desert and tropics, to the Britain-meets-Southeast Asia culture.
