I just had a weird conversation with my mother's nurse. She is an immigrant Trump supporter, and she is heartbroken that New York elected Zohran Mamdani as mayor. The amount of crackpot conspiracy theories she spewed out made my head spin. The fact that we live over 2000 miles from New York didn't lessen her dismay. I tried to disagree with her a few times, but there was no getting back to this reality.

Don't waste your time or energy trying to engage with people who are still on the Trump/MAGA bandwagon. Ain't no reasoning with or saving them. Let them continue to sink or learn to swim to dry land on their own.
