The last time he kissed a white woman was ten years. The last time he kissed a anyone on screen was True Detective was five years ago. He's gotten more devoted to his faith...soooo..he's macking on no one from now on. I respect his choice , pity though cause he's got charisma but not the inclination
I just found out that Jaden Smith's lead character in the 2010 "The Karate Kid" remake film has a IR love interest, LOL: I watched all 4 films from the OG 80's-90's "Karate Kid" film series for the 1st time ever last year. I enjoyed them & regret not watching them growing up. Anyways with this new upcoming "Karate Kid: Legends" film merging the OG "Karate Kid" film series with the 2010 remake film into a shared universe, I guess I'm gonna finally check out the 2010 remake.
I watched Heart Eyes and enjoyed it. It’s a punchless satire mistakenly marketed as a horror slasher. It follows the beats of a rom/com, replacing the comedic hijinks with splatter/slasher tropes. It doesn’t cohere into a good film, but it’s fun, which should be good enough to get you through it for no other reason than the (ir) couple at the center of it have strong chemistry.
I might have found a steal . . . which has a subplot of YA interracial. Looks like a well financed film by those Christian Conservatives with that LOOOOOOONG $$$ Will post the trailer tomorrow for "Homestead" which has some Taylor Sheridan vibes because of Angel Studio and has cast some of his thespian talent which he has used for Paramount +. EDIT: I just brought the Memorial Day Ribs in off the grill so I wanted to start from the very beginning and wouldn't you know it . . . Sam Sheridan is an Executive Producer of this project. I guess that's Taylor's brother or cousin lol. This movie is trend upwards on the Top 10 and sitting at #3 right now with Prime Video. Time to grab a cold one and settle in for the ride. Those ribs should be done resting by 8:30. First time doing White People ribs lol . . . no sauce and just lightly seasoned with Krazy Jane Mixed Salt Organic after blessing these Extra Meaty Baby Back Smithfield ribs with an authentic Italian Organic Extra Virgin Olive oil from Prunetti I got from Amazon. It was soooo hard not to add anything extra to these ribs . . . that Vinegar Pepper Cooking sauce from Bessinger's was just calling to a Black man but I stayed strong. Just let the Western Post Oak smoke do the work mixed in with some Western Applewood & Western Hickory from yesterday that I didn't use. Came back at it at 7:45 with some more Prunetti Robust Extra Virgin Olive oil as I turned up the flames on the grill and added a second light application of Krazy Jane Mixed Salt Organic while rotating & flipping the ribs every two minutes. 8:00 removed them and wrapped them up in Reynolds Grill Foil.
Definitely a shift that a Christian film has interracial love stories, typically these types of films in the past wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.
I am not going to tell you that you are entirely wrong but . . . Based on the sequel "Homestead II" that they gave a trailer for . . . that Young Brotha is going to take his new Ladylove to the next level
i mean imagine watching a Christian film in church and then suddenly they start doing some all out freaky deeky sex, nobody wins in that situation lol
I have noticed more subtle diversity in the Christian film genre in the past decade. The want to cast a bigger net and they know there is an Afro-American audience that patronizes their content too at those Mega churches. Families of Black Parishioners who buy trip tickets for big events.
You guys should check out the film Brooklyn Babylon (2001). The film is a love story about an orthodox Jewish woman and a Rastafarian black man in early 2000s Brooklyn. Now the acting isn't the best lol, the lead actors have lots of chemistry.
The problems with movie like that was it was one of many of that era that tried to shoehorn rappers/singers into leading acting roles. I believe that tactic hurt the potential careers of young black male actors.
Looks like Eva Longoria plays Eddie Murphy's wife in this upcoming Amazon Prime Video film "The Pickup":
