It's been taken care of and moved to the correct thread. The best solution is to report the post and ask for it to be moved. It's a quick and easy fix.
Just found out that an older film that I should've watched a decade ago & I've never seen posted about in this thread has IR love interests involving 2 notable actors. The 2009 indie comedy film "Mystery Team" starring Donald Glover. Quickly skimming through the Wikipedia summary of the film, Aubrey Plaza's character seems to be his love interest. Here are the trailers: Red band trailer Green band trailer I've always known that Donald Glover was the lead/co-lead of this film, but I had no idea that Aubrey Plaza was in this film until I was randomly browsing her Wikipedia page several minutes ago.
It's amazing what we miss, right? But it's mainly due to the fact of the lack of promotion and attention some movies, shows or storylines get.
Yeah when "Mystery Team" premiered throughout 2009 it was during or right before the 1st seasons of "Parks & Rec" & "Community". So most people didn't who either Donald Glover or Aubrey Plaza were yet. But as much as we talk about indie films in this thread, you would've thought somebody would've posted about it a long time ago seeing as they both eventually became stars.
Is the interracial content in "Requiem for a Dream" any good?!? Is it with Marlon Wayan's character!?! I see the movie is available on Amazon for a free 7 day trail. I have heard about this movie before and the soundtrack is legendary.
It's not. Jennifer connelly stares at Keith David crotch for a minute, but they don't do anything or show anything. Keep yo money in yo pocket!!!
Thanks for the swift reply and warning!! Damn that's pretty terrible for IR content and you know she was liberal enough to do more but back then some directors were so lame about it. She did interracial in other later films but my God . . . if we could have got her in "Jungle Fever II" in the early 90's when she had those ripe, round, creamy white all naturals lol. I don't think she ever did a proper love scene before her breast reduction surgery.
The relationship is a central plot point of the movie, but Anthony Mackie is barely seen in the movie. And the actual relationship is not shown on screen almost at all.
I just watched "3022" & I think it's an exaggeration to say there was no IR ' ship. Yeah they never put a label on Omar Epps & Kate Walsh's characters personal 'ship in the film & they didn't kiss. But they slept together & cuddled in the same bed every night for years, they fought/argued like a couple, whenever music was played in the commons area they always danced together, Omar Epps risks his life to save & be with Kate at the end film, & etc. They were a couple without the movie explicitly stating they were a couple. They personal 'ship basically functioned like an established married couple.
As I tried to tell you . . . Amazon is greedy for your $$$. They are now advertising Tubi original movies as pay-per-view lol. Google TV and Apple TV don't do you dirty like this . . . they will inform you if you have access to a movie while Amazon Firestick via Prime Video will try to steal your money . Just wanted to warn you again. I never saw them promoting Tubi original movies before and then asking you to pay for them until last night. Apple+ does not do that and neither does Google TV!
"The Gods" got a sequel last year, "The Gods 2: The Dark Side: Both films are available to stream for free on the Tubi & Plex apps. The first film is also available on the Xumo Play app. I recommend watching the 1st film on Xumo Play becuz there are subtitles available, while Tubi & Plex don't have subtitles for the film.
Looks like we missed this 2023 indie holiday romcom film, "Take a Chance at Christmas": It's an Xumo Original, so you can only stream it on the Xumo Play app/website.
"Framed by my Sister" also goes by the name "Triple Threat". So keep that in mind when looking up the film. Anyways, I also couldn't find a trailer for the 2017 Lifetime film "Stalked by my Ex" either. But I was able to find trailers for: "Old Flames Never Die" & "Wheels of Beauty" (A.K.A "Driven to Kill")
