Movies with BM/WW Couples

Has anyone watched Country Hearts and Country Hearts Christmas? It's one of those rare love triangles where
the Black guy is the main love and he gets picked over the White guy
. The actress is pretty too.

I had the opportunity to watch the Country Hearts movies over the weekend. If a series centered around the characters were to be developed, I'd tune in.

Speaking of which, I just watched the 2014 holiday romcom film "The Santa Con":

Melissa Joan Hart & Jaleel White are love interests in this film. But despite the fact they heavily featured in the protional material, neither of them are the Lead. Both of their characters are supporting characters to Barry Watson's (the dude that played the oldest son on "7th Heaven") lead character.

Here's the trailer:

I forgot to mention in my previous post that you can watch the "The Santa Con" for free on Amazon Freevee & YouTube.

I recently got put onto a VH1 holiday film that came out last year called "Fuhgeddabout Christmas" starring Justina Valentina, the "Wild 'n Out" crew, & their inner circle of celeb friends:

Fellow "Wild 'n Out" co-star Conceited plays Justina's love interest in the film.

What are you talking about? I just watched "The Santa Con" film a week or so ago. Jaleel White & Melissa Joan Hart's characters meet early in the 2nd half of the film and quickly start hanging out & become a couple.

@Young Herschel Have you seen the film? What Soulthinker said in the previous post isn't true. The actual con of the audience is like I said previously, Jaleel White & Melissa Joan Hart are supporting characters to the actual lead character instead of co-leads like the promotional material tries to promote them as.

SMFH. The Roku Channel app isn't available on the Apple TV box or Video Game consoles + there are NO pirated copies on the net of some these indie Roku Channel app films that have been mentioned in this thread, so I finally bit the bullet & decided to buy a Fire TV Max stick just so I can have access to the Roku Channel (& TikTok) apps.

Be careful with the new 4K Max Amazon Firestick . . . it claims to do more than it actually does in my opinion. I had to send it back for false advertising lol and then they sent four more for some reason but they still have the same issue (no Dolby Atmos)

Having returned to the Fire TV ecosystem this month with my purchase of the latest Fire TV Stick Max, I just have to say that Fire TV does a WAY BETTER job of recommending me films & TV shows than the Apple TV box did. IMO this is becuz Prime Video & FreeVee are built right into the front interface of Fire TV, meanwhile the Apple TV app on the Apple TV box is a separate app I could just ignore, so I never used it.

Speaking of which, on the Fire TV I just stumbled onto a couple of holiday IR romcom films from the last few years that were never posted in tbis thread:

"A Christmas Exchange" from 2020 starring Laura Vandervoot (The chick that played Supergirl on "Smallville"):

Based on a Harlequin novel, "Molly Cooper's Dream Date" by Barbara Hannay

This holiday season, Molly Cooper swaps her snow covered farmhouse for Patrick Kensington's posh London apartment. While enjoying Christmas time in the UK, Molly begins to look forward to every communication with Patrick. Likewise, Patrick finds Molly's warm emails and texts charming and compelling. Sparks fly between them as they get to know each other and fall in love as they live in each other's spaces. Coming home for Christmas Day, Molly is greeted to a new life and a new love.

Director: Justin G. Dyck
Writers: Barbara Hannay (novel), Neale Kimmel
Stars: Laura Vandervoort, Rainbow Sun Francks, Nigel Bennett

"The Christmas Checklist" from last year:

THE CHRISTMAS CHECKLIST (2 x 90’ or 4 x 60') A grieving daughter discovers a red envelope from her mom that contains a final request: for her to complete a Christmas Checklist of twelve activities before Christmas, the last one being “Find Love”.

"The Christmas Checklist" is on a multiple free streaming apps, so I'm not gonna bother to post where to watch it.

"A Christmas Exchange" is free to watch on the studio's official YouTube channel, but it's unlisted. Here's the link:

This was underrated, very good flick taking on this alternative lifestyle. Did you see it?
Skimmed thru it, clearly made for thirty something white women (everyone's favorite demo) who want to push the envelope but don't want to deal with body issues or whatever. it ain't for me.

As a sidebar, that red head in the movie crazy I hope like hell I never meet anyone like that in real life
