They used the example of Everything,Everything which is WM/BW.

In this new, diverse world of casting black males are still the bottom of the bucket.

 

What that article just highlighted and missed was it's becoming increasingly okay for other kind of Interracial couples except the one between a black man and a white woman.
It left out A United Kingdom(great movie), Little Boxes, Timeless... But notice how they mention most IR involving black men and latina actresses.(accepted)

But on the flip side of that understandably they didn't mention some of the other Ir between bm/ww because they don't go or end well in movies/shows. Once again when interracial
is brought up in mainstream, at the forefront is bw and wm, while bm/ww is put as a sidenote. And the issues that hollywood still has with that pairing that we here and else
where highlight gets ignored by mainstream. And notice how the other IR movies they highlighted that are coming out are mainstream(accepted) and involving well known movie actors, while the movies Patti Cake$ and Wonder aren't.

When TV shows like Life Sentence and movies like The Mountain between us come out that involve well known actors/actresses in a rare bm/ww relationship the reality will come to light.

I don't know how many all together that are coming out.

WW are still a White man's most valuable asset Personally I think a great deal of studio chairrmen and directors subconsciously and consciously believe if BM/WW relationships are more visible and normalized in pop culture, BM will eventually 'out-compete' them for WW, or at least be able to do so on an equal footing.

A lot of this comes down to the sexual intimidation of WM by the mere presence of a BM in the room.
Why promote an IR union that ultimately forces WM to view BM on equal footing??

America has a closet obsession with BM/WW relationships.
The #1 IR porn category by a mile is BM and WW, with WHITE MEN being the largest consumers of this genre.
No one would know who the Kardashians were if the women in that family had a preference for say, Chinese men.

Personally, I don't think the portrayal of BM/WW unions on screen are a big deal for most viewers.
But for too many White male decision makers and While male viewers, BMWW IR relationships literally threaten their MANHOOD in a way that other men with WW doesn't.

I bet you a big budget, mainstream summer blockbuster type movie with a WWBM IR couple would do massive business, partly because of the public's closet fascination with this type of union. And because I feel like it's not that big a deal to younger viewers.
This crap about studios not showing BMWW IR on film because they won't sell in red states is just a bullshit excuse not show these type of hookups on film.

I am surprised we don't see more BMWW unions in independent films, although at least we do have some.

Curious if you have porn viewer stats on BM-WW porn consumers specifically?
Because I would think that the biggest consumers would be black men and white women. If it's just stats that white men are the biggest consumers of IR porn, I would naturally assume it would be black women and white men. They're aren't enough cuckolds in this world to sustain WWBM porn, IMO.
Having said that, stats reflect that Conservatives are the largest viewers of porn.

I was not the one who approved this thread, and I probably would not have done so.
