I got to admit that Z nation started off as a light hearted version of the walking dead but last night's episode was harsh with the scientist. They are starting to get dark.

That show is my guilty pleasure. It's so bad It's good in it's own way.

I hope they keep the show lite and humorous. I don't think they could pull off dark and serious.

LOL. They gave a gritty, realistic X-Men/Dark Knight treatment to the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

    It might just work.

The show was silly as hell though and strictly for little kids.

I never liked it until I gave it a real look during the marathon and this new season. It was really grim last night, which I liked.

The power rangers movie trailer made them seem too much like one of those teen shows on daytime television. I'll wait for someone else to see it before I go.

I seen the trailer and they made them nearly invincible like superman, they are basically super-humans. It still looks interesting though, so I am game to see how it plays out.

They did come across as overpowered. I don't think PRs ever kept their powers outside of their suits.

It looks pretty ok though, I saw a lot of people complaining about their suits. I think they look good enough.

I know in the 90's version they had to morph to be able become strong enough to fight enemies.

    Supergirl Spoilers

Soooo, black Jimmy Olsen got friend zoned and is now just a pining side kick. Typical CW. Can't have the lead actress' true love be a brotha'.

On the other hand, they had zero chemistry. So, that might actually have been the reason. Take from it what you will.

Yeah I said this before they had trouble writing them as a couple, but they had their moments. It was a good first episode though, Superman was great but that uniform I don't know, Supergirl's uniform looks smoother than his and what's with the belt...

This is definitely promising and I am actually anxious to see how the zords will look. We already have some teaser images, but this is definitely looking like it's reaching the young demographic and those who grew up with it, like myself.

Well, going into the PR Lore, there were certain series, namely Dino Thunder and SPD, where the characters were granted powers (though, in SPD, the main characters already possessed unique powers) where they were granted powers. But, it does explain as to why they had an easier time fighting off enemies like Goldar and the putty patrollers, among other things. I'm not sure how they will incorporate the Morphing Grid into this story arc, but it looks like the power will be utilized better since it's not trying to mix in stock footage to compliment the sentai they are borrowing it from.

I think the chemistry was a lot harder to pinpoint for some people, but it was there. It just didn't hit conventional wisdom on how pairings work. I'm certain that they will find a way to get together somehow, but, as a series, as long as they are on the same show and James isn't killed off, they could eventually get together.

The only real obstacle is whether officially bringing them together would be deemed a "jump the shark" moment.

Hell, even Felicity Smoaks and Oliver Queen, as well as Barry and Iris, are struggling to become a pair completely without some hiccups. But, they are still in each other's lives.

NOTE: I'm aware of "Olicity" were together as a couple, but failed ultimately since she moved on.
