Pure blinding hatred apparently

 

I have to spread more rep around but yes, you hit the nail on the head precisely. Every time Trump opens his mouth all he does is prove just how unqualified, unintelligent, and out of his depth he is in this race (or any other race for that matter).

 

Pro-Trumpers seem to believe that he will surround himself with really smart people who will give him expert advice on all of the major issues. What they forget, though, is that Trump being Trump will probably surround himself with yes-men who won't tell him what he needs to hear, but what he wants to hear. And since he's the President, he'd be the one to have to decide what to do with the information he's given, despite the fact that he himself has less than no knowledge about foreign policy and diplomacy in general.

Depends, if you're referring to Gentrification complaints. Often times as well, Whites moving in are eyed with suspicion..but l think that's just territorial human nature.
The signs above are utter prejudice and discrimination.

 

That's usually poor people knowing their rent is about to sky rocket. Not so much race.
When everyone is in the same boat black people don't tend to discriminate against other poor people or even on the other end when everyone has money black people don't do that shit. Unless they're homosexual if I have to be honest. That stems from extreme religious conservative.

 

Yeah, no they don't. If you're poor, you're family. They don't exclude, they look out for you.
And gentrification isn't just skyrocket rents, it's beloved Joints disappearing. The culture gets erased.

 

Literally every group has anti-gay people so your point still stands regardless of religious beliefs in the black community.

I just pointed that out because it seems like a lot of people believe homophobia is only prevalent in the black community and I strongly doubt that to be true.

We as a community have a problem with public homophobia.

 

Unless people are going around assaulting others for being gay then its a non issue.

 

I wasn't saying we did. Maybe I gave the wrong impression.... Just merely that we all have to be open to everyone but no never encountered it my neighborhood.

 

Nowdays, people are actually resentful because they know they'll eventually be pushed out.

Since NYC has tenant-friendly laws, there has been cases of unscrupulous landlords harrassing long-time residents (protected by rent control) to leave so that they could rent the unit for market rate and/or renovate the building in those areas that are gentrifying.

In NYC a lot of Harlem has changed over, and developers have actually set their sights on Pt Morris area in the south Bronx.

I know it's improving cities, especially in Washington, DC, but it is sad for those folks who are forced out, and I understand their feeling. In DC a lot of longtime homeowners are making a point to resist the very nice profit they could make and holding on to their houses,

 

This has and is happening in inner city Philly as well. We don't have rent control, just a lot of section-8 tenants.
Who are being moved to the far northeast (and suburban)Philly and some of the residents there aren't too happy.
But where are the displaced residence supposed to go?

I recently read a bizzare story of a lawsuit by a NYC rent controlled tenant. The battle is a crazy read.
I also read that some landlords barr building perks to rent controlled( like gym, pool access) and make them go through a different entrance.
