    It was always strange to me how in the years following 9/11, wearing beards in the U.S. became trendy.

    Facial hair is a sign of piety in the Muslim world.
    I wonder what they think of so many American men looking like devout Muslims???lol

    Hassan Rouhani, the President of Iran, has a beard.

    To me it's still a bizarre trend.
    It would be like that little Hitler mustache becoming popular after WW2.:butthead:
