It's just another way to waste time. There are so many people on those things who have NO intention whatsoever of ever actually meeting someone in person.....it's crazy. I don't get how they get their egos boosted so much that way either. Ok so you received a bunch of hits on a dating site. Many of them are fakes or flakes.

 

Yep. Pathetic to waste people's time.

 

I believe a lot of those profiles are made by the company

Yeah, this. On days when I wear a suit it gets me more attention overall. For added effect, I throw on a pair of shades and an overcoat. I'm not vain or anything but there's no better way to look badass.

 

Oh yes. I'm not a shades person...I may not found the right kind. But wearing a suit is cool. I'm more of a nice shirt and slacks type dude. At the club....then yes a suit or a nice coat is the joint.

 

This seems to be the norm lately. The thing is that it's often not a matter of it being a texting situation. Just because some are using their phones, others are not. So, often it's coming across as an email. An email that just says "hi"

What's wrong with saying something like "I like what you said about....(fill in the blank) and I'd like to get to know you better" ?

I've noticed guys getting pissy if they aren't responded to instantly too. I think they just don't get that for many it's not a texting situation.

U damn right. There are night clubs for old school sounds. The south is full of them. The IR people hook up at those places like that all the time.

You also have bars and what not.

The bros and sistas get together like that too. Mostly for happy hour.

I always thought suits looked a little stuffy especially when you wear them to work it just becomes common place but then I started noticing a lot of looks when I wasn't in the office. Been dressing like this my entire life from elementary school to hs and on weekends for church and girls never cared so I didn't think it mattered boy was I wrong lol

 

Because doing it over and over feels like work after awhile especially if there isn't a response.
A simply greeting is much easier. Again women want a example of interest that they would never ask for in real life. It's a back and forth not an audition.
