So it pretty much just boils down to how they look?

 

I would say I am just average.

I am no super model, but I am not unattractive.

I have dated some very handsome men and I have also dated one man who was very unattractive. So much so that people said why are you with him? ( I wonder about that one too lol but not because of his looks)

I think my sense of humour and my smarts are what people find attractive in me. I in turn, find those qualities attractive in others.

Catch me on a good day and I might turn your head. Catch me on a regular day and you would walk by.

 

I'm good looking, but I'm average in height...so what I have found:

When I'm talking to a short girl I have no problems...
An average girl, no problems...
Tall girls, I have to woo...

*I know I'm average-short, so I try to compensate by weight training and being as muscular and tone as my time will allow...

*assuming they all look good, which I obviously believe or else wouln't chat them up

*Of course there are exceptions to the rule...
I am naturally shy, but I don't let that hold me back, I force myself and it works...

 

Market value based strictly on appearance?
Well because I am above average height for a woman, that lessons my market value in the eyes of most men. I am decent looking, exercise regularly, and laugh easily (although not at stupid jokes). So does it balance? I have no idea, nor do I care what cosmo or maxim holds as the standard for market value.

You're right but a lot of people would have us believe all you have to do is be confident lol. They miss all the other elements that create success. I definitely see the difference between having a good job and being a student. From being in shape and out of shape.
The more realistic the better your chances.

I can admit and be honest that the majority of hot girls I've hooked up with had serious flaws in other parts of their lives. You know how many hot coke heads I've been with back in my music days? Lol

Depends on the individual man's likes and dislikes in a woman I may be higher or lower in his personal market value.
Every pot has it's lid they say or one person's trash is another one's treasure.
I have dated men that other people didn't find as attractive,as funny or generally as awesome as I found them. That just shows that everyone has different criteria when it comes to a potential mate and I personally don't feel like I dated "worthless" men.

Unfortunately, it has been my experience that many men prefer women shorter than them (maybe it's an opportunity to feel powerful and big, I don't know). I noticed this starting in high school, when I shot up and they all stayed short. It continues as an adult. It could be just my community, the guys to whom I am exposed. But obviously, I have had the good fortune to meet several men that love my height (they are just not the majority). :smt050

I'm only 5'10" so it surprises me when I intimidate men based on my height (their words, not mine). Or maybe it's the rifle I carry in my purse, meh who knows :smt102

 

That's tall for a girl but not abnormal lol. You had me thinking you were like 6'2. I think it becomes a problme with heels because girls LOVE their heels lol.
But I will say this. Being that tall and being on the big side can be intimidating but if you're height weight proportionate you're golden. You're like model height and most guys I know love that. Then again most of my friends 6'1 and taller.

 

I appreciate what you are saying but I am not a huge woman. It is the men over 6' that are most attracted to me which is just fine by me, under 6' men - that's when there's an issue lol
