My biggest turn ons: Long manicured nails, a long flowing beautiful hair, not too much make up, tongue ring, lip rings and nose rings are good too, long sexy legs, slim waist, can cook, open minded to new things, likes a variety or music and movies, believes in God, doesn't smoke or drink too much, doesn't party too much, isn't a gold digger, enjoys giving oral sex, has a good sense of humor, sexy voice, sexy walk, sexy accent, like sports, likes to travel, etc.

My biggest turn offs: racism, close mindedness, farting and burping, atheist, doesn't have manicured nails, manly walk, can't cook, overweight, isn't kinky in bed, keeps secrets, moody, and selfish.

So what are all your biggest turn ons and turn offs in the opposite sex???

Turn-ons: intellect, an open mind and left wing politics, an argumentative personality, dry sense of humour, musicians and singers, those with an other artistic bent (painters, poets, playwrights etc), tall (at least 6ft2 or 6ft3), broad shoulders, sweet smelling cologne, relaxed approach to life, ability to wash dishes and clean up after self, amazing at licking pussy, appreciates good food, travelling and taking time for romance, someone who will be a foil and a companion but respects my independence.

Turn-offs: a man who won't lick pussy, a man who makes love peremptorily and unromantically, someone who tries to possess and control me, unintelligent men who take everything they see for granted without stopping to consider the whys and wherefores, arrogance, shallowness, conservatism, obsession with material goods and money, any kind of bigotry and judgmental personalities.

Judgmental how? Turn ons and turn offs are purely subjective; they only apply to what I personally find attractive in a partner, which isn't the same as what I find interesting in my friends, and I'm certainly not saying I hate all people with/without those characteristics! Just being honest...!

Who said I hated you? :(

Men of a politically conservative bent tend to find me obnoxious, to be honest, so it's a necessary piece of self-preservation.

I also hate women who wear baggy or too loose fitting jeans and pants. It strikes me that they are trying to hide something or are just not comfortable with their body to wear tight and nice form fitting jeans or pants. This isn't the 80's. I'm not saying every girl or woman with a nice figure MUST wear hip huggers or club pants all the time, but women under 30 with nice bodies should not leave the house in pants or jeans that are 2 or 3 or 4 sizes too big just because it might be "comfortable". You wanna be comfortable, wear sweat pants or pajamas. If not, then get with it, get your flabby ass in the gym if you have to, and show us men what ya GOT!

because i guess in my social class, television is not looked upon as a good thing. reading, being active in civic groups, being active in social and academic issues, there are more things to do than rot in front of the tellie.

a show or two a week is ok, like the lawrence welk show, or pbs documentary or book tv on cspan or maybe a jim lehrer hour news or fox news

Too opinionated, too judgmental, too idealistic, unable to cope with the realities of the everyday world, often depressed.

TV deadens the mind...I prefer the radio, esp. radio 4.

    why are you depressed, MisstressB?

I am an ultra conservative and I dont think there is anything wrong with a woman who is highly opinionated. Judgemental?? I thought that was not what left wing people liked? Nothing wrong with Idealism, as long as one is living in reality true.

but I dont know many conservative mates who have a problem with opinionated women, perhaps they are in Britain

The world makes me sad. It is a dark place.

Everyone is judgmental and self-referential in their encounters with others, maybe I'm just more self-aware of it than other people. Opinionated is not a problem I suppose depending upon what you like in a mate, but I'm kind of overly radical and would like to change fundamental parts of human behaviour, nature, practice to make the world more sociable, which more conservative people find a little odd, as they prefer to stick with the establishment and the status quo.

but as it is your right to your opinion, isnt it also the right of others to their opinion? you dont want someone coming and making you change your nature and lifestyles, so others dont want it either.

I do agree, the world is a very very dark place.

True enough - maybe I'm being too oblique - I mean changes in human behaviour where it causes harm and detriment to others, have visions of a peaceful communal coexistence without exploitation or cruelty which goes a little against everything scientists have so far found out about human creatures (self-protection, competitiveness, etc). Other beliefs...of course...I try to respect those , or at least understand them a little.

yes, I agree with part of your stance--I just think we say we want to change peoples behaviors but often we want to make others think like we do. I am sure you dont want to think or be like me--you would not like me enforcing my rabidly conservative views on you.

and I sure would not want to be forced to behave or think like you dearheart.

I was far left wing in my graduate school and post graduate school days--I was SWP-USA and quite radical left on issues of womens rights, gay rights, civil rights, the environment(which I am still pretty progressive on), native american rights, workers rights. my first job out of university was as a labour and community organizer/activist and lobbyist.

but as I learned through experience, time and really listening to peoples needs, reading and involved with people outside the bubble of the University, I saw apparent contradictions on the left that were so intense, I couldnt bear it any longer and changes radically Right wing over night.
