To the original question, I think it can't be a generic answer. Attraction is not a conscious made choice. You like what you like. Why do some women only like tall men, or some guys only like skinny girl, or redheads, brunettes etc. People who date outside their race should be complimented for their ability to break the pre-conceived notions that we should stay within our ethnic and cultural circles, and that it's wrong to do otherwise. I think to ask why someone likes what they like is unfair because it's subjective and can't be explained fully in words. Everyone should embrace diversity, expand their soul. The world would be a better place for it.

Not sure. I have Masters in other areas. I have 2 professions and I sort of alternate between them. One really burns me out so I need a break and go to the other one. I am looking for a way to combine the two, but on my terms.

I think the M. Ed will let me get into policy work with out really going back in the field. I still want to do field work, but just not in the way I was doing before.

Thats a great question. I date WW(not exclusively, but mostly) because i feel that we share alot more in common intellectually, spiritually and same interests, than i do with bw.
It isnt primarily physical, though i am attracted to ww physically alot and it isnt perceived cultural differences as most of them are American like I am and dont have many cultural differences to speak of.

For me it is purely physical. Men are men, their character for me is individual and has nothing to do with colour. I love the dark skin, I'm simply more attracted to it, and the other features, more than that of white skin. That's all.

Like the other poster said, it is the same as having a preference for fat or skinny or for blonde or brunette....I prefer dark skin

Yep and people are only ever gay if they're abused when young. This is what gave it away for me....

Although something did 'happen' to me - I moved to London and it opened my eyes to men of African descent (which we have little of in Aus) and from there it was no turning back. That said I have been involved in IR before, but with other nationalities...
