    do ww and bm have very similar struggles;
    the fight for equal rights
    equal pay and ect....

what other similarities are there and does the similarities make IR stronger?

    Bwahahahaha... you weren't kidding.

I think there are some similarities among all oppressed peoples, wherever they are found because being oppressed creates similar dynamics. In the US, though, I think white skin privilege and racial identity usually trumps the building of broader coalitions. After stealing Native American land, African slavery and oppression are so fundamental to the nation's fabric that I'm not sure how people can get past it as a society. I even wonder if the progress that individuals can make can be replicated society-wide.

I'm in the batters box and kill me all you want but no,, my personal situation with my wife what I'm speaking to,,
2 clear examples white people will never understand

driving as a black man only another black man comprehends our apprehension when we see a cop,, the paranoa when they get behind us
the real fear strangers have about black men the purse grabbing going the long way to avoid us and the eyes on us when we go in a store

to be fair after turning 40 it hasn't been as extreme as it was at 20-40,, the wife did notice a purse clutcher with me one day and all I said to her is how would she feel knowing how much I make and where I live

Anyhoo, not like we don't already know his answer

I agree that only a black man can know that feeling, but I don't think we understand what the constant fear of sexual violence feels like, although that's common to women, not just ww.

Even though men in general have had it easier than women in our society.
The so-called "male privilege" has historically not been a factor for BM.

In terms of similarities: chemistry, mutual attraction, love, mutual interests, mutual goals.

In terms of struggles: history of oppression (being a woman and from Poland, for example); history of your people not being able to get their education (underground libraries, teachers, etc.); history of your people being killed worse than animals by some douche; knowing what it's like when life feeds you a shit sandwich on a regular; any other common struggles on a case-by-case basis (having been married/divorced, single parenthood, similar health/mental challenges, similar childhood struggles such as domestic violence, ADD, abuse, of whatever the case may be); common enemies.

I agree, but only in white society. In black societies the oppression of women is a constant, just like in every other society.

This is and has been for quite some time, a 'mans world'

To deny that is pure folly

Find me a civilization where the men are controlled by women wholesale, justified by (but not limited to) religious and or cultural beliefs, and I'll eat this fucking iPad

Brb breaking google by searching for women abusing men via sex trafficking
