Would You White Girls Defend Your Black Boyfriend From A Racial Attack?

imagine you with your black boyfriend, walking along in the park one day, both of you are having a good time, and enjoying yourselves...

then suddenly, two or four white skinheads come out of nowhere, and begins to target your black boyfriend....

the skinheads begin beating your black boyfriend up with bats, kicks, fists, rocks, and chains...

your black boyfriends urges you to help him....you stand there, afraid to do anything...then finally you begin to yell for help...but its too late..

i remember watching a movie called "the affair" where it dealt with IR dating during WWII..... there was a scene a black GI and his white english girlfriend were walking one night and were approached by some racist cracker GI's and the leader of the group, who had relationship with that english girl, decided to teach the "boy" a lesson....

the black GI was seriously injured....the white english girl had stood there while those crackers were beating up her boyfriend..

if there was an incident, which i hope it will never happen, that your black boyfriend becomes a victim from a racial attack, will you stand there and watch helplessly or will you fight back?

i certainly would never be a bystander in a situation like that. i've been known to step in front of my ex a couple of times when things started to get heated. i protect the ones i love

I would for sure not stand by, it is not in my nature to not do anything. I know that for a fact.
    But.
I feel like this is a lose lose question because if you say you would defend your man. Someone will say that we are lying......

of course they will, but we know what we know, so who care about those who say we wouldn't

Other than call for help or go get someone what do you think she could have done against 4 people? Open a can of whoopass and get her ass kicked too. Many times if it is one on one a woman who is smaller than a man stands a chance but if outnumbered you can probably forgetaboutit.

    PUSSY...

...how about telling her to "run" her safety should be his priority before his. I can't see myself talking about "Baby help me" and I would be pissed if she did. If I'm getting my ass kicked what do I think is going to happen to her.

I would want you to run, leave, flee...

...that way after I've taken my ass whippin you will be in prime shape to helpe me nurse my wounds. Cuz nothing make a man feel better than a good, slow, deep....

Unless she has gun or is a well trained fighter(5 years or more ofcombat training) there's absolutely nothing she can do

    Agree w/ both of you.

I wouldn't want my woman to take a beating for me either.

My instinct would be to jump on their backs and be as vicious as I could. I wouldn't be thinking straight to do anything else. And if any of them turned on me, that's less men assaulting my man. Sure we'd lose, but I'm not standing by and watching. Or leaving!

I always feels a protectiveness for those I love & I couldn't just stand & watch it happen. Realistically there's probably not much I could do, but that doesn't mean my protective nature or temper wouldn't get the best of me. I would do whatever I could even if all that I was able to do is call for help.

Very few men would actually expect or want their women to jump into the middle of that kind of situation & taking the chance of getting hurt too.

You say that now...but later...when the relationship goes through the normal ups and downs of all relationships....you laying next to dude and thinkin'

...this dude let me get my ass beat

...or you hear a lil noise and night, might be someone breaking in and you think "SHit I might as well look my damn self, ole pussy over here ain't gonna do shit but get his ass kicked"

...better you...your heels, and your purse....run and get the police rather than add two ass whippin' to the mix.

    Oh ok, thanks.

    You're a complete mess! [IMG]

Seriously I just couldn't leave my man. There are two types..people who try to break up fights and those that simply watch/or run..I'm the former...can't help it, I always have been that way. I'm like the old lady that intervened in the McDonald's beating. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ec0_1303444048

Damn kid that's a poor excuse of a woman then. If a woman loses respect for me for not being able to control an uncontrolable situation then she's the sad one not me. In a situation where you get jumped(which has happened to me more than once) you don't LET anything happen you just try to deal with it as best you can.
As a wise person recently told me worrying about what anyone else thinks takes away from your happiness and adds to their ego. Fuck that shit.

I agree with this. If you assess the situation and it doesn't look good your energy is better spent running your ass to get help. Two beatdowns doesn't make them any less racist. They are still fukked up.

Your first instict is to fight but if you can get someone to help, your man stands a better chance of coming out ok. I would have a hard time leaving the scene but I would just be going as fast as I could to get real backup support for him. Love doesn't mean doing stupid things.
