    That sounds pretty petty.

I didn't know the overwhelmingly majority of people are hung on this petty issue.

Yes, some people want to express their love through the creation of another life. Go figure?

We'll be sure, however, to let your genes die out without any protest.

First of all...having children is nowhere near a petty issue.

Secondly...we're all allowed to date who we want, with whatever qualifiers we deem apropos.

Third - breeders?! Are you fucking kidding me?! The only time I've EVER heard that term used is within the GLBT community. Is there something you'd like to tell us?!

People who are heterosexual and never want kids use that term too.

    Ok, if you say so.

Thanks for assigning everyone who's not like you a rather distasteful label. I always appreciate labels! They make everything so easy and black and white, I never have to form my own opinions!!!

No, I will not marry a woman who doesn't want to reproduce. Infact, I don't even need a woman, I just need a functional uterus attached to a moving head.

Believe it or not but some people do think that of those who don't want kids. I've heard it myself.

I have heard people of an older generation say that if you didn't want kids you were selfish, I think it takes a special kind of person to know that they don't want kids, or they feel they would not be good parents and prefer not to mess a kids life up. I respect such a decision, so Serendipity, I have to say that I fully respect you on this one, and no, I'm not being sarcastic. Thank you for making a responsible decision. Now If I were you I'd make sure it wouldn't happen, such as a Tubal or some other permanent measure.

My brother didn't want kids and had a vasectomy at the age of 19. He later married a gal with 2 kids and it was a major disaster and they divorced, he REALLY did not want kids and I was glad to see he did not make their life miserable.

I don't think having children or not could be called petty, because it is a real deal breaker for some, for others not so much. I didn't particularly want kids when I married, but my husband did, I was not opposed either, but now I am glad I did.

Now however, my guy and I have not really discussed kids yet. It's not at issue for me even though I have had 4 and I am not young, but I am healthy and should he want a child I'm cool with that, (he already has one of his own) if he doesn't that's cool too, should he want more than one though, he'll have to consider adoption, cuz I don't want to be having kids after 50!!:smt009 But if he told me he really wanted a "whole" family of his own biological kids, it would be a deal breaker because I don't want to do that.

It's not petty. I would totally understand him, and I would not want to take that away from him.

Your brother had a vasectomy at 19?? I wish I had gotten one last year. No joke.

Young men can really get vasectomies nowadays? I can't wait to get one.
