Relationships are soooo misconstrued on tv and in music that it has created a smoke screen in our ability to see clearly. Let the smoke settle and you will find that there were more women interested in you than you thought. You might have been looking off in the distance when they were right next to you the whole time.

I think men are more interested in what women look like than women are in how a man looks. If you take care of yourself, a woman knows you'll take care of her too.

I've never once had a thought like that, but then being 'taken care of' doesn't rank high for me. I'm more into mutual admiration. You love them, they love you, everyone gets 'taken care of' in the process.

    LOL..
I still have to dissagree... men are far more visual than women.. ergo - men are more critical of a females body than women are of men bodies. Im not talking about women on this board, Im talking in general.
Like the examples I mentioned in real life.. like men losing interrest in their partner because they gained weight, you rarely hear that reversed.. women leave for other reasons, non physical reasons in general

yep - that IS what women do in general, gush over their new man - its just how women function in general...

disclaimer - not me:), Im pretty tightlipped until I know for sure where its going..

Alright I can buy that FG. Men are likely more critical of a woman's body than a woman is of a man's body. My point was women are more critical of women's bodies than most men I know, and I still think that's true. That's kinda odd when you think about it though, we hold our own gender to a higher standard than we do the opposite gender. But then that's how I always am, one set of rules for me and a much more relaxed expectation for the rest of the world.

Oh and I agree that women rarely leave men because they change physically.

Exactly my point. I think both sides have trouble accepting that

Clearly that's true. Personally I really have trouble reducing people down to any one trait or set of traits, like physical features, or money, or power. It's just a totally foreign concept to me. I wonder if the people who are stuck on things like that ever realize how many really great people they miss out on by doing that.

Unfortunately, I dont think it will go away anytime soon.. looks to me, the human race is getting more and more superficial and egocentric.
    ?

Clearly they don't or they wouldn't be so willing to let them go.
But certain traits are important to us for a reason and shouldn't be ignored either.

Looks it is important to many people and i can easy say it is important to me but with that i don't mean a man should look like a model or a celebrity as most of this pic are been fixed ..
and what the most important no one have the same taste ... what someone see ugly someone will see it good or great..
be clean and wear something nice..
even for me that i say looks are important if someone don't look good or be clean no matter how handsome is will pass an-notice
