Yesterday, I moved unluckily, and really thought that I've destroyed something I love pretty much. I couldn't even look at it.. Luckily it was a vase and i was aware, how much it means to me.. The story behind is simple...when I was running a bar, we've had a "mascot", his name is "Snoopy", a white small dog that was running to every guest. The people loved him, so he got a cash box (his sallary), because he was doing a great job..I loved that little boy.. You also have something emotional worthfully with a story behind??
A prayer card When my colorguard instructor died unexpectedly my sophmore year in hs, i was devestated, he was like my second dad. so when i went to his wake they gave our prayer cards with his name, etc. i still have it in a box with all the other things i wld never wanna loose
It's 'just' a picture, so at least it'd be hard to lose or ruin since it's saved so many places... but this is one of my treasures: Somewhat easy to spot me, I'm in the tye dye (to the left-ish, by the kids). First time there was ever a Marsh family reunion, so it's special because of that (even though that's not even 1/4 of my family members lol). But also, the real reason it's special is because it was the last picture taken with my grandma before she died. She looked at me and went, "nan loves you some lot". Her hand was on my shoulder in this picture, even with so many others around. ...She died two and a half weeks after the picture was taken.
A bracelet with my son's name and his birthstone. It's just a simple beaded bracelet that cost almost nothing to make and can easily be re-made. But I almost never take it off. If something would happen to it, I would feel like something would happen to him. Weird, I know
i'm like you mynxie. i have a necklace with my children's initials on it that i never take off and am worried now that something horrible will happen to them if i do take it off
