    Hey guys,

Weird that I logged on and saw this post and my name LOL. Been off the grid for a while due to various factors. Boston is okay for IR dating, but is a very divided community in terms of neighborhoods. I tend to go out in the Dorcester section on dates because it is predominately black and nobody really cares. I live 10 miles out of the city and it is okay here. However, I did have a bad incident last summer in the next town over. The music stopped playing once me and my date walked into this resturant and EVERYONE(all white folks) just STARED. I felt like I was teleported back to the 50s or something. I think that IR dating is what you make of it, Yep some places are better or worse than others, but just do you and response appropriately to the ignorance.

shit that's what I thought...I wanted to go touring up in Boston, until a coworker of mine said how racial that town was..

granted ive been exposed to that in my own city, I just stopped lusting after that then...

like he said, youd think up north, people would be more integrated and racially harmonized. sometimes this shit is backwards, lol.

BosoxL,hard to believe but,I'm not surprised since when you go to certain hoods like Charlestown,South Boston, and others there are Yankee rednecks that talk as funny as the Good Ole Boys of Mississippi. So toxic are those Whites you rather hang with real Irish people from the home country.

  12. Boston sucks. I wouldn't live there if you payed me.

Wow, after reading all these I'm surprised racism was THAT bad in Boston. I think I would be better off living in Mississppi or Alabama................or not. Dang boso you said the music stopped playing, reminds me of that scene in Remember the Titans.

best bet is to just go there on some GP...im sure there are some decent places in Boston (where I dont know), where you got asians+black+other minorities.

just try avoiding going into strange areas at night, and work your way out from the tourism district, etc. There are blacks in Boston, c'mon son.

I lived in Mansfield which is a very small town directing in-between Boston and Providence, RI and I never got in racist vibes up there. I know there probably were places I shouldn't go but I never came across those places. I was actually shocked because I heard how racist Boston was but everybody seemed fine to me. I believe they are 1 out 2 states that has every had a black governor.

It's still pretty much FUBAR there, I hear....

    I wish it weren't so..

    Damned shame..:smt009

Or that bit when BOONE, OTTER, FLOUNDER & Company went to the Dexter Lake Inn to see Otis Day & The Knights in "National Lampoon's ANIMAL HOUSE"

Kinda FUBAR, as well, when you consider that...in an earlier scene.....Otis & Co. were jammin' & hangin' out with the Frat Boys at Delta House, talking about old records and taking hits of Do-It Fluid (gin) like they were...'family'..
