I believe her. This once happened to me. Not the firing, but the "meeting". Complete humiliation. *Just wish she chose a dif lawyer - can't stomach Gloria Allred. **BTW, this is the Debrahlee Lorenzana also mentioned in the story.
As a man who likes looking at attractive women I don't know why there is a problem with a little sex appeal in the work place. But as a person who has seen sexual tension wreck a work place, I can understand if the management would prefer to keep the place distraction free.
Since she is big busted I am sure she has a harder time finding clothes that don't seem too revealing. Here is another pic of what she wore to the news conference. If this is an indication of how she was trying to dress at work at a conservative shop, then no doubt that's why they told her cover up. Her boobs are hanging out the sides. :smt102
I might be missing something, but where do you see her "boobs hanging out the sides"? And cover up..with a bathrobe? even though she offered a sweater? Tape her breasts?
A wholesale lingerie company owned by orthodox jews, a wholesale lingerie company managed by prudes, basically, who force their employees to wear "sweaters down to their ankles" because of, gasp, distracting boobage...? Nah, this can't be real life.
So you mean it's ok if you walked around at work with your pants half unzipped where you could just see part of your junk, not all of it but just part. Uhhh........no.
Shit, I grew up with ultra-conservatives who were really about that life. No jewelry, no makeup, women couldn't wear pants; no shorts, no braided hair, women also couldn't cut their hair short; no short skirts, and certainly no lingerie companies that sold boy shorts for women
Personal, I couldn't wear shorts, no mustache, no TV, no wifebeaters(heh), certainly no piercings or tattoos and the similar. My families' religious principles. Strict as you wanna be, but they were good people, so this isn't me slighting them.
It (mostly) had nothing to do with me. It was a few co-workers and management playing musical beds, and the drama it spilled over into the office. Jealousy, lunch cliques, rumor mongering, people getting suspicious promotions, people quitting, etc.
I believe the correct term for that is shrug. It is not a jacket per se and doesn't cover up the fact you can see her bra on the sides. Your underwear should at least be covered at work. :smt090
Yeah, no slight, I totally feel you. Katy Perry said she was raised similar (she loves her parents, too). Interesting too how the Amish are also like that but they give their teens Rumspringa at 16 to get the rebellion out of their system. I would never have pegged you to have had such a conservative upbringing, tbh.
Lol, hey, I'm not a complete reprobate, at all. Not a self-righteous, sanctimonious prude either :smt051
