This was the second push this month. Another NYC man was pushed by a crazy man onto the tracks as the train barreled down, and one of the people who watched in horror took a pic of the last seconds of the man's life as the train lights were feet from him, and the NY Post published it as their cover story and there was outrage for them doing so.

    The paper's cover...

Apparently, dude taking pictures was trying to "get the attention of the conductor".

Yeah, me too. I don't take the subway in Berlin often but when I do, I NEVER stand close to the tracks and I always watch people around me carefully.
We had a series of that over here a while ago and it scares the shit out of me.

Ha ha, I thought it was a guy because of the shortness. I figured no woman will only leave two words ;)

Yes it's crazy and scary. So many people with fucked up minds nowadays :(

I'm gonna take the subway with my parents tomorrow cause we are going to an area where it's almost impossible to get parking.
I hate being underground with so many people.
You never know which one may flip out unexpectedly...

I think the problem is, that we live in a world that is moving too damn fast.
Everyone wants more and they want it NOW.

It's a world that is created by the media.
Be more, have more and then you are happy and popular and people will love you.

You see people on tv who got everything: a big house, a big car, a huge closet, a boat, a jet......
They are beautiful and popular and most of the younger people wanna be like that.
To achieve that, some are even willing to commit a crime like rob someone.

And then we have those people who can't handle it anymore.
They can't keep up with this fast moving lifestyle and the pressure of always being popular, beautiful and wealthy.
They might feel worthless because they don't fit in.
Those are the ones who either commit suicide or just "snap" and start killing people.

The vtech killer said something similar to that in his manifesto. You may have a point. I just wrote them off as crazy but theres truth to what youre saying

That's why you can never just write off people who do fucked up shit as just being crazy or evil because life is never that simple and neither are the reasons for many of the things that happen in life. Both good & bad.

I dont see the correlation between the economy and this evil act. She said she hates Hindus and Muslims since 9/11 hence her reason for pushing him. It takes an evil person to take one's life senselessly and i hope she is given the lethal injection.

Good Post! We do live in a vain media driven society. Side note: I wish we could do more to help the mentally ill, but I also wish those that are hell bent on taking a life start with their own.
