WM criticizing Kim Kardishian's Butt for being too big

It could be that some WM have lost something really fundamental in their preferences as men. A lot of WM do like the hourglass figure and the booty but certainly not to the extent that BM. There’s a certain way that Nature intended for the woman’s body to be (childbearing hips), and the current Western beauty standard has kinda moved away from that. The fact that BM don’t buy into it shows that they are still real men.

WM's standards of beauty are the only ones that have changed significantly over the years. Black men and Latino men (particularly Latino men with Native American ancestry) are not monolithic but generally view "fat" and "thin" in broad terms. We don't have lower standards...it's just that our view of what is OK and what is "too fat" tends to have more variance...fat to most black men is different from out of shape. A woman can be out of shape and weigh 145 lbs but she isn't fat...she just doesn't exercise much..which is more a lifestyle issue than a physical appearance issue.

I think a lot of WM like the aspect of being "in control". A small woman is easier to handle than a larger one...whether that's reality or just a deep seated psychological thought process....some men feel that they can't really "control" a woman that is close or even larger than them...even if she isn't "fat."

Yea, I was just about to say that. BM are less intimidated cuz they're naturally more masculine, a lot of them have this manly prowess. I mean, look at this very couple, Kardashian and that gorgeous athlete. He looks really powerful and she very feminine.

ahahah nikki u r damn right!!!
but anyways... at least i've heard that american women can find clothes for their sizes even if they r thick.
look at my pics on the pics thread. i'm thick, i have some fat, yes, but u can't really say i have some obesity etc (am i right?).... BUT... in italy i can't find clothes for me!!!! the only places r 2 European chains called H&M and Camailleu.
And that is because I am considered FAT. Not moderately fat. FAT AS FUCK! LOL. That's why I love black men. They make me feel pretty even with some... thickness :)

It's all about location, darlin'. It's hard for me to find clothes in wv, too. *L* In Houston all I gotta do is go to the galleria. My favorite place for jeans is Lane Bryant, though, because they've got this line that makes jeans in different shapes to fit different body types. It's hard otherwise to find jeans that fit well, though. Plus, as an ego booster, they don't use standard US sizes, so I wear a 5.

And I've seen your pictures. You're hot. Speaking of which...you don't happen to like girls, do you? :-D I <3 belly dancers

The Lady was worse than the man.

All the men on this site are so kind to us. THANK YOU!! I'm glad not everyone has those narrow minded views. But I did notice a couple of things on that video.

I'm not sure that guy is white, or that this was his honest opinion. I saw some hesitation when the lady asked him what he thought. I know he was expected to say those things, (probably had to follow a script) and it was definitely the lady the urged him on and was even more critical than he was. Although he sure chimed in later on.

That is something I see even now. I get more criticism from white women, than from white men. I'm not saying men don't criticize, they do, but women tend to get technical and really insulting.

I get it from women who are sloppy fat, but weigh less than me, they tend to think it's all about the number on the scale, and forget that muscle weighs more than fat. I have a lot of leg muscle, I wear a size 14 (and I take it in at the waist) I have very muscular legs, so even though they are heavy, they don't jiggle nearly as much as my friends who wear a 14 because their stomach is too big to fit in a 12, but their butt doesn't even fill up a 10.

I'd like to know if other women get this too. Not that I really care what they think, but they like to volunteer their "advice" even though they are no smaller than me. I think it's their way of excusing their own bad self image, and they are intimidated, by my self confidence.

i understand u. i agree with u that sometimes women r worse than men. because they notice things that men don't. one time I had this friend of mine. She has thinner legs than me and i think she had a size less (i'm a 14 like u). Once she made me notice I have some belly saying "I see I'm not the only one here having some problems...oh, and u r one size more than me" (not nice... infact we r no friends anymore lol). I think that more than the size ithe important is the shape. This girl is completely STRAIGHT. No ass, no waist, no hips, just big belly and big tits. Even if she is one size less then me, her body isn't armonic. I would change a lot about my body, but at least I think my shape is kinda armonic and proportioned. Better have a big weight/body and having a nice shape then having a perfect weight but having no shape. But like u said... sometimes they say things to other ppl just not to feel worse themselves... and yes, this guys r so kind :)

People try to soothe themselves by trying to find shortcomings in others (although I don't see your "assets" as shortcomings). That is why shows Jerry Springer are so popular.

When can they start makin' clothes for the little dudes...we got stuff for petite women, BBW's and Big and Tall men...but seriously...clothes for short dudes isn't tailored right...it's not too bad for me because I'm not super short and my dimensions are more in line with someone about 5-10 or 5-11 maybe even 6-0 but short dudes with smaller arms, necks or shorter legs can find it tough to find the right fit.

You're right there, my son-in-law is only 5'6" and rather thin, he has to shop in the kids section when he is in the US, in Mexico he finds it easier to find his fit.
