Anyone can be racist, it's racist to say some races can't be racist.

what was the last time a white guy got fired by a black man?

what was the last time you heard of a white guy got lynched by blacks for being white?

when that happens, then you can tell me that blacks are racist....

RacIST - refers to a person, not a group of people.
Only in the US is this even an argument.. You dont hear this anywhere else, or at least not in Europe.
Its an artificial definition that doesnt make any sense. whatsoever.

If I say a racist slurr towards a black person - that is racism, but according to you if a black person say the identical thing to a white person, then that is not racism??

Its really racists in my view to even say that others than whites can not be racist. You need to look up the definition of Racism. What Whites did to Blacks in this country, including lynching is an example of racism.

and going with your argument that black people dont have the economic and political power to be racists.. Ok, lets go with that argument...

What about Obama and other rich and powerful blacks? What about all the poor and politically powerles whites?

Take a famous group of racists, the skinheads - they are usually from the bottom of th ebottom the working class with absolutely no political or econimical power.
These tendencies of these group of people often stem from powerlessness and the only way they can feel good about themselves is to invent a lower level they can spew hatred on to feel god about themselves. I want to point out that this is one example and by no means do I mean that all white racists are from this socioeconomic group.

Color is only skin deep, its a physical attribute - no relevance to being a racist.

Your argument about that does not hold up.

Racists tendencies comes in all colors I agree that there most likely are more racISTS (again -IST poinst at a person, not a group) in the white population compared to the black population - heck Japanese have a lot of racism but as they are not white, they are not?

BTW, I have not fired a black person, neither have I lynched one and I doubt that you have been lynched. I have, btw - been fired by a black person. Your making generalizations that simply dont hold up. The wast majority of white people dont have economic or political power and neither have they lynched or fired anyone at all, of any color. Again, weak generalizations drawn from you - they dont make any sense.

btw, when I lived in the 3rd ward in Houston, I was clearly subject to some racist stuff in the beginning. Even my black neighbors said so and they surely did not subscribe to your artificial definition.

As I said before, whatever dude.

    Thank you wifey!

What I forgot to add was that Racism was not invented when the white Americans came up with the idea of kidnapping and enslaving Africans (and btw, slavery has existed since the beginning of time and has been used by people of ALL colors - and I am not saying this to minimize what was done to the Africans that were kidnapped and put in slavery by white people in the US)..
Racism existed WAY before America was even America.

Very true. Racism comes in all shapes and sizes. As does hatred, which I believe goes hand in hand.

Jews have had hatred thrown their way for 2000+ years.

There has been hatred aimed at different religious views for thousands of years.

The list goes on and on.

So many deaths can (unfortunately) be attributed to humanity's hatred against each other.

And this is not a matter of: can you top this. This is merely adding examples.

    Now back to the Olympics!!

I love the Olympics and I've enjoyed watching Evan Lysacek and Apolo Onho :smt007 perform.

Oh, and the ladies figure skating and the skiing. I'm going into Olympic withdrawal. LOL.

This is likely true UnChosen. I grew up poor, single mom all that jazz. I wanted to ski so I got a job at a small ski hill and learned for free from coworkers. Eventually got a discounted ski instructor course done (employee benefit) plus heaps of hours riding the lifts for free because I worked there. Learned to board too, started teaching that as well.

Just because I grew up with no deniro, didn't stop me from participating in a couple of sports that I love. I never had the desire to go to the Olympics, I just wanted to play on the snow. Anything can happen if someone wants it badly enough. Quit yer bitching UKBlack and do something about the problems that you see.
