Will & Charlize NON-Kiss In 'Hancock'

Y'all, this debate about the Will & Charlize non-kiss in 'Hancock' is really some funny shit to me. Here we are in the 21st century, and we're debating whether or not the biggest movie star in the world actually kissed a white actress on screen. Unreal! Yeah, Hollyweird is fucked up -- and it ain't gonna change. If the biggest movie star (of ANY color) can't kiss a woman (of ANY color) on-screen then what does that say about our society???? It's not just about Hollyweird -- it really says a whole lot about our society today.

Another thing that's ironic: America is about to elect the first African American president in Nov., and yet Will Smith -- the biggest movie star in the world -- can't kiss a white actress on screen. To me, that's bitter irony.

In some ways America has made great progress, but in OTHER ways we remain just as ass-backwards as we were 50 yrs. ago. This really says a whole lot about our present society that doesn't bode well at all.

Very true, even in this day and age it is still somehow taboo for showing a black man in a real love scene with a white woman despite the fact that IR relationships are at an all-time high. Why bother at all if you aren't going to actually go the distance? It's quite silly. Do they hold off showing a full on love scene between a black woman and a white man? (Monster's Ball) Do THEY even see the hypocrisy in this? Do they even care? No...

The fact is, we live in a f'd up society and all you can do is shake your head at the nonsense.
