You want to know the funniest thing here? When that song came out it was during the time when using a "black rapper" in your song and make your image more hip hop was consider to help sell the song, and people(black guys mainly) use to think that these white female singers that did that like black guys, until they found out that in real life they dated white men. Because people automatically thought these whitegirls that were into hip hop and black culture and "acted black" automatically were into black men.

Willa Ford fell into that category and was with a white guy at the time... so that's when black people started figuring it out they were using hip hop and black culture to just sell the song and black people were thinking like they like everything about black culture except the men.

Christina Aguilera set off a backlash when she said in an interview back then that she had never been with a white guy before. A lot of white guys didn't like that because they took as she only dates black men, but black guys loved it because they thought the same... until like a little bit after that interview came out she wind up dating a white guy and a lot of black men was saying she was full of shit and that she obviously said that in a interview to get with a white guy.

So, back to Willa Ford it's funny that she is with a black guy now, when she was one of those white girls that black people seen as "She likes everything about black culture except the men."
