After all, given all those differences you mentioned, he may very well be wondering the same about you. Why would a highly educated white bread woman, considered attractive in her circles, take an interest in him? The same way you're thinking of those Beyonce look-alikes, he may be thinking of those eligible white dudes in your environment......and wondering how can he possibly compete? So yeah, on the real, why would someone like yourself be attracted to someone like him?

Yet......lo & behold.....you are!!

Personally, I can think of a hundred different reasons why he might want you too, but since time and space won't allow that.......I'll just echo the previous posters and say: Go For It -----> You Never Know!!

Thanks so much, I really can't say the enough, the more encouraging words the better. Really and truly, people on this site or so sweet. What has made the most excited though, is how open minded people on this site are about dating different kinds of people. Even if this doesn't work out, this has totally expanded my idea of the kind of men I want to date, which is really amazing and cool. Perhaps I'll date a 90 year old! Or a polygamist! Or a black, 90 year old polygamist gangsta! The world is my oyster! HA HA! I'll keep you all posted! I plan on trying to jump on him sometime within the next month or so, we'll see!!!

 

I think that he is ONE LUCKY BROTHA! And that's just me. Go ahead, and see what he's all about!

My only advice to you is, and (maybe this is the dad in me saying this), but as long as he treats you nice, and respectful, then pursue it, but if you detect any sort of ill treatment, then don't hesitate to evacuate immediately.

I think if you really like this guy you should go for it. I do believe the thugness could pose a problem depending on where his expectaions in life are. But if this man handles his business and is out for your best interest while being a little rough around the edges, go for it. I don't think you have to worry about competition as far as black women if the brotha truly digs white women in the first place. I don't know what it is about white women that I like but the desire has never left me to be with one since i was a kid.

I think you should go all in and ask for a date with this guy, nothing serious, just a night out together. You have to take action now, or you'll learn the hard way about living with regrets. Go for broke, what do you have to lose?

If white women are dating black men, perhaps you should ask yourself what is it that these men are doing that the white men are not? Go and learn from a black man how to please a white woman, then you can get one for yourself.
