Why so many BM and not Enough WW In Here?

I have noticed that this site is populated by about 90% black men and 10% white women. The few WW who post in here are not too great looking (Mistress B, Iffys Wifey, etc.) or very interesting. And most of them are older and taken. Where are all the sexy, FINE, young single white women at? Unless I am wrong, isn't this supposed to be a BM/WW forum, meaning horny BM talking WITH hot WW? Not black men drooling over internet pictures of Scarlett Johansson (which is what it has become). Where are the sexy White girls at? Oh, wait they are probably out partying and in the clubs and bars chatting with black men in REAL LIFE since they are probably too good to chat with BM on the computer in their house...

 

That or there are simply more BM interested in WM. Check out the personals board. As at today March 3, 2006 (11:35 PM GMT) there are 2665 BM persoanals, compared to 909 WW personals (thats a ratio of nearly 3:1). Also, consider that there have been 840,146 visits to the WW personals board (by BM I suppose), compared to a mere 159,383 visits to the BM personals (thats a sorrier 5:1 ratio).

This must mean something.

What do you mean by "too good to chat with BM on the computer?

 

I just meant that some girls (and I have met many, even guys too) feel that they are ABOVE internet dating and chat rooms and stuff. Some people do not trust meeting people online and feel it is tacky and for fat or ugly nerds and losers. I have over heard several conversations over the past few years where people have ranted and raved about how chatting online with people and flirting online and meeting people over the internet means something is "wrong with you" (not that I agree with that at all, just what I've heard).

There is a huge stigma with internet dating. It used to be something only perverts and nerds could admit to back in the day, although now it has become at least slightly more acceptable with the major mainstream success of sites such as E-Harmony.com and Dr. Phil's site (I forgot the name). But it is still frowned upon. Many people feel if you have to meet people online and cannot "bag a fine bitch" at the club every weekend flashing your bling, you aren't cool or something is wrong with you.

I know for a fact that many white women (at least the hot ones) feel they are to good to sit on the computer one a Saturday night while her friends are at a club and chat with a black guy who she doesn't even know what he looks like (or REALLY looks like, photos can be fake...trust me I've had it happen)...

 

Someone I know thinks people who need to go online to find dates are socially inept. While that is an alarming generalization, I think there is a more than a germ of trut in it. At least it is for those who do all their dating online. On the flip side, online dating is best used to supplement offline efforts.

 

How many people are on here to hook up? I just joined this site for the discussions on interracial dating. I don't plan or want to really hook up with anyone over the internet. At least not currently.

Ditto! As jxsilicon9 said, I am simply here to have meaningful discussion with people about IR and other fun topics. As you can imagine, you don't need a "hot" face to do that. I have no plans to hook up with anyone one over the Internet. That being said, I think you could meet someone online, but then, you would have to build the "physical" relationship. other fun topics.

As a rule of thumb, don't believe any picture or physical description you see online! That way you can only be pleasantly surprised.
