Why is the black side more receptive?

When it comes to mixed children I've noticed that the black family tends to be more receptive. I guess it's because black genes are dominant while white is recessive and so the child can fit in with blacks. Either way, I think both families should be equally accepting but it's usually not the case.

Mostly because of slavery. The one drop of blood is still in affect and many of the blacks in the U.S are mixed with white or native American. They are empathic to that child then full blown white or should I say the appearance of full blown white people.

Blacks are just used to seeing all shades of themselves...whites tend to want to look all alike except for the more rebel-type guys and gals....many blacks look mixed but neither of their parents would classify themselves as white...ex: Colin Powell..both his parents are "black" but he is lighter than many biracial offspring..(ex: Halle Berry, Shemar Moore, and Lenny Kravitz)...heck Michael Jackson's dad Joe has blue eyes and both his parents were black.

Blacks seem more receptive because they have been the outcasts for long and they want to belong - as they should. In the 40s and 50s before the nation's conscience woke up, very few whites did NOT want integration, while almost every black person wanted integration - not because they (okay, we) were more enlightened and progressive than white folk, but because we were getting the shorter end of the stick, and were tired of being thought of as second class citizens, and wanted the same priviledges and acceptance that everyone else seemed to be getting.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that black families want to belong, mind you I mean in the sense of wanting integration. I guess black families also appear more accepting because they've seen the evil of racism, and are tired of it.

    Am I making sense?

    PS:
What is this? Am I getting my posting Mojo back? ... (Lets wait and see ;) )
