Why is it okay for black comedians to be racist?

    but that's not true. What is the kicker is that a comedian must give the recipient of his jokes an "out" that goes for any race. White comedian talk about blacks all the time, but the criteria is

    1) that it be actually funny
    2) That if gives the minority (fat, skinny, midget, the handicapped...an out)

    some GREAT comedians can get away with this because they have established themselves and people know not to take them seriously. Or they have the keen ability to self deprecate. Pauly Shore was NEVER a funny comedian to me and even his movies only touched a certain segment of the population. Red Fox is not correct example because he spawned from the "coming of age" black comedians....away from the spawn of black face and Vaudvile acts.

    Exactly. They're not being help back or oppressed so why the big show. At the end of the day we still need to go to them for employment.
