Why dont folks in the personals participate in forum?

I have been so curious to know why there are so many women on the personals, and men too, and yet hardly any women come into the Forum and join us?

what might be some reasons?

 

In my opinion, I believe the answer is pretty obvious. They probably lurk through these conversations held in the forums, and then get freaked out by them, mainly because of the type of content displayed in the Personals section of this website.

 

yeah, especially the creepy ones by the married women to have sex with a hung black man while her husbands watch. how freakin sick is that?

if they love black men dont you think they would want to have some privacy? ha ha

I am just too macho I guess, and ancient in my views. I think the liberals call me Neanderthal, because I just would never let my wife or girlfriend do that in front of me or with my knowledge. And I would never ask her to do that.

I'm afraid I'm of your traditional bent: maybe I'll change my mind once I marry, but all this swinging and wife sharing just gives me the creeps.

The brothas that do that....get their jollies when they cash a big bankroll...they won't let their wives get pimped out without getting PAID!

Perhaps, I should answer said question. There are several answers. One being that most of the people in the personals are just looking to meet or hook-up with someone and they only want to share their feelings with the person they meet. Others just want sex and don't have time for serious conversation. Unfortunate, but true. And last but not least, many of them are reluctant to post because if their opinions or lifestyles differ from some of the veteran members of this site, they will be made to feel unwanted here. Over the last few months, I have noticed that the morality police of this site have almost taken over. Oftentimes, it has gotten to the point where people can't even take a joke. If you don't filter your post with a fine-toothed comb, watch out! This is what you may encounter:

"You a troll!"
"Youse a racist."
"I can't wait until you are banned."

For true, for true. And that's only a sample of it all. I have managed to survive here because I am a skilled debater and I'm not worried about winning the contest of popular opinions. I, for one, wish that more of the people from the personals would write stuff here whether I disagree with their views or not. We need fresh blood and those people from the personals would definitely liven up the "Sex Talk" portion of the forums, hahaha! Don't be discouraged, my personals friends. Do your thing and let the chips fall where they may.

I think you get that a lot in forums. Cliques and hierarchy seem to form, with so called senior members trying to pull rank over the newbies. Also, some people only reply to posts by their "friends".

I for one wish people would just try to be themselves and not present a certain image as their "online persona" or Mr/Mrs Popularity. I know that I often come across as a bit shallow with my various penis related posts, but I can get deep too (pun intended), if I can be arsed. But more often than not I can't. So I just read what interests me that moment, and write what I feel like that second. I wish others would too, without thinking about what so and so might think about their text.

 

Yep, I left another forum for that reason - also because I was experiencing racism after some people from the forum met myself and my bloke in real life (surreal really). Somehow the clique had made racism fashionable again and I wasn't really down with that, obviously I'm just not enough into post-modern irony!

But I agree with you, just say it like it is and don't put on some facade. I'm a bit arsey and argumentative but not usually personally offensive to people, and probably I come across the same way here! :lol:

 

I met a couple women from this site, as well as a few other sites. The main difference here is that (in my opinion) the women here are pickier because they have such a large pool of black men to choose from -- who they know are interested in white women. So, they can sit back and pick and choose -- or wait.

On the flip side of the coin, it's nice to be able to browse and speak with women you know are interested in black men from the get-go. That's usually the biggest barrier when approaching white females on other websites.

The main thing I don't like here, is that you cannot see if there is a mutual interest by "winking" at someone first, before you pay -- but then they also throw in extras like the adult area, which they don't do on other dating sites. On other sites, if you pay and get no responses to your emails, you're S-O-L.

I really have no idea. I can only speak for myself. As I said, I'm new and curious as to what this website has to offer. I was a little worried in the beginning as there seems to be a lot of sex talk or innuendos. I'm no prude but still....that's not really what I am looking for. I just want to meet someone for a real relationship if you know what I mean.

I have gone on other interracial dating websites, done the profile thing but you have to pay to contact with anyone. I hate that. At least here you can post on the form for free and start to meet people.
