Why do many white women with black men feel the need to act ghetto?

I've come to the point where I don't even find this racial anymore. It stands out more when White Girls do it, but it's still lame when Black Men from middle class predominately White suburbs try to act all thugged out.


Actually, now that I think of it, even people with a justifiable reason to act all thugged out seem lame when they act that way.

I have describing anyone's behavior as "ghetto", tho. Thugged out is one thing, but everyone's got a different definition of ghetto. I was only called it once, and it was based upon my choice of bottled water. Meanwhile I've known too many people from actual ghettos with refined sophistication to be too quick to use the phrase myself.

 

True. There are ghetto folk, and then there are ghetto niggas. Nobody likes ghetto niggas, not even ghetto folk do.

 

What is normal? Did it ever dawn on you that maybe some of these women actually talk "ghetto"? Or are whites so perfect that they could never talk "ghetto"?

 

When my wife and I started dating the one thing I told her was to be herslf. I love here traditional approach to life and her family orientation. What attracted me even more was her accent "southern". I admire people who are themselves in true blue. I hate fucking fakes and plastic people.

As already said, they crave acceptance by their men and their mothers/brothers etc. and will change anything to get it. Go to Tottenham or Lewisham, you'll hear dozens of white women saying, "Blud-claaat!" when disapproving of something, or "Check it!" but they're not requesting verification.

Ok, I don't expect all WW to talk like Liz Hurley (God, what a beautiful world that would be though!)

I've run into White, Asian and Latin women that behave this way and holy stop the presses, Batman but they weren't from America, didn't live in America and have excellent command of English.

I'll never forget speaking on the phone for the first time with my German friend Silky and she sounds "Black" if that's such a thing, I guess it would be better and more benign if we called it "Blue Eye Soul" maybe?

I've always felt weird about calling something "Black". Black people do have a certain "culture" that others seem to like to emulate and that's fine, we emulate European Culture every dayum day.

In the end though, If I wanted to date a Black Woman, the stereotypical Black Woman then I would just date one.

I mean 72% of them are single, there's plenty of choice...

 

I expect WW to be themselves not act like someone from the hood. As for Brit women like some from those council estates they act a bit ghetto,correct me if I'm wrong.

Why do so many white girls with black boyfriends feel the need to be disrespectful towards white men when they're out with their bf? I'm serious when I tell you that several white women try to make a point of making a snide comment to me or other white men when they're in an IR relationship and it always confused me.

Do you want me to care? Are you upset that I don't give a damn? Please tell me what reaction you're looking for and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Any thoughts on this?

 

I've never witnessed this personally HV. It appears from your question that you believe this is directed at you because you are white. So I would say that anyone who is going to disrespect you because of your race is likely just a disrespectful bitch in general. Either that or perhaps they expect you to look down upon them for dating IR and they just want to let you know your opinion doesn't matter to them. Again, I've never had anyone even attempt to give me shit regardless of who I was with, but apparently it happens fairly frequently to some people. If that's the reaction they are used to, I imagine it gets old fast and they become proactive in letting people know to stay out of their business. That may be the message they are trying to send you.

Oh, last minute scattered thought... if these women are aware of your proclivity for WW/BM, they could be passively voicing their distaste for that. There are people who would find that very uncomfortable, and I imagine if I thought you were hanging around IR couples in the hopes of viewing live porn, I wouldn't want you around. I wouldn't be disrespectful, I'd just flat out tell you why, but most people tend to run passive-aggressive so open confrontation is something they avoid.

I think this whole Ghetto thing is a ton of shite, if you don't like the way someone speaks don't date them, if someone else is dating them who cares? just because the guy dating the aforementioned girl/woman is the same colour as you, does not mean you have a right to comment/interfere with there choices.
As a white woman, if I see another white woman dating a black man who i think is assimilating or dresses like a muppet, do I have a right to say something? because i think she is letting the side down? no I bloody don't, although I will admit that hats bother me, but I'm perfectly happy to allow other white women to date black guys wearing hats. :lol:

No, it's not this. I'm talking about walking into a room and experiencing this with white women who don't know a thing about me. It's strange behavior and I simply chalk it up to immaturity.

 

Okay HV, if this occurs with random strangers then I doubt it's immaturity as I can't fathom what that would have to do with their reactions. I would think it more likely that they've got flack from WM in the past for dating IR and they inappropriately assume you feel the same way.
