Id be curious as to whether Erik was black or white. I looked around the site but didn't see anything definitive.

Just wondering about his possible frame of reference.

Hmm, black guys date white women because they are guys and they like women. Some men like darker women some lighter women, some like shorter women some like taller women, some like skinny women some like fat women, some like educated women some like uneducated women.

    probably because they like them

Exactly, I agree w/ Tucker. Black men are just like any other man. If she is attractive, does her race determine whether she is an eligible partner or not? For some people, yes. For me, no.

Tuck has already answered the age-old question for us.

I don't see the point of a documentary. Why isn't someone making a documentary on the biggest ir in this country?(aw/wm)

Probably because there isn't the history of racial controversy surrounding it. Tell me when in history a white man was ever hung for even whistling at an asian woman? At least, in this country anyway.

Besides, as horrible as this sounds, who would really be interested in hearing about the dynamic of that type of IR? Don't misunderstand. Plenty of people would show interest, but not to a great extent because there's no real controversy behind it. Fact is fact. More people would be interested (and un-nerved) about a black guy hooking up with a white woman (or white guy/black woman) because the road to such a relationship would be paved with intolerance, bigotry and downright hatred. But at least, that's just my opinion alone.

i just worry that this sort of documentary will not enlighten anyone, rather it will only reinforce stereotypes.
