Why Black Men are fond of White Women

I read the article and saw no real reason to write it.

 

The article seemed a little weird and forced to me. He should just speak for himself.

 

The article serves no purpose for much of anyone else, but there was probably good reason for the author. It kind of seems as if he has some issues with interracial dating himself, and I think the article really is just his subconscious trying to work those issues out.

I mean, predictable though it is, note that he has to go through and complain about black women. If your explanation for loving someone requires explaining why you hate someone else -- yep, you have some issues.

I don't think he's so much explaining his fondness for white women, as his aversion to black women. And the bulk of the article really is just him trying to assuage his guilt over his prejudice by saying it is justified. Unavoidable, even:

"I don’t think the question should be why, it should be why not?"

I have a pretty glaring "why not" for you, really:

"Let’s not forget that the black community has some serious issues that black men and even black women are trying to distance themselves from."

In short, if you're interested in dating people of other races for the express purpose of distancing yourself from your own race, that interest is not genuine and really you need therapy more than a date.

great statement . I have stated that all the time. yes, we have our qualms with black women but it doesnt mean we hate them. I have stated and always will state that I would date and marry a bw just as much as a ww or another race. Im looking for a beautiful woman and if she is HOT looking too then that is a cherry on top.

 

His article is interesting but I have two problems with it:

1. He puts down black women. While I mostly date white women, I believe it is wrong to put down the women in Afro-American culture.

2. He puts too much of a premium on whiteness. I would rather be with someone of the same social class and someone with whom I have a great connection. Desiring the lady's skin color is okay initially, but most WWs would prefer that you want them as individuals, as would I.

Damn right! It makes you wonder if he has really ever been in 'love' with any white woman in the first place, not some possessive, controlling relationship. His apparent obsessiveness is not healthy in my view.

 

I don't see why this is always an issue of discussion. Every black man that's fond of white women has his own reasons. We like white women simple because we do. Why the fuck does everything have to be so damn political?
