Hej Scylla, how is things in Sverge? I read that the major tabloid in Stockholm had the news of Obama's victory before any other paper. That is fast. Also had you been on the websites whoa.nu and Frizon if so what is your opinion of those sites?

 

Sweden is like Sweden always is.
I wouldn't be surprised if one of our newspapers where quick with it, they are printed around the time that the election was finished and I know that we had live radio and tv from the states all night, so we were pretty keen on it.

I've visited whoa at some point, both sites seems to be good, and if you like swedish underground rap and hiphop, they are probably really good.

But honestly, I don't know, it's not my scene really.

 

Scylla, I will check out Frizon and Whoa. I hope one of those two talk about Black-American culture and IR dating of brothers and Swedish women.

 

Oh, if thats what you are looking for, then, thats not the sites for you, they are just music communities.
There is no specific swedish sites about IR dating. Not that I've found at least.
Black-American culture is not something we debate or talk about much in sweden, since we are living on the other side of the planet.
(no offence, just joking, ok?)

 

That is all good. I read a lot on Sweden and its relations with Blacks. From the books I've read they were involved in the Slave Trade but not as deep as some European nations,one of the kings had Black ancestry,and peace keeping efforts in Africa like Count Bernedotte and Dag Hammarskjald.

 

Well yeah, we haven't had that much slavery. Im glad for that. I had no idea that we had a king with black ancestry.. They all look quite pale in the pictures;P
