We definitely have an insanely complex and powerful brain...and I oh so wish we could use it more efficiently...especially when it comes to religions!

totally, i am not waiting on a hypothetical messiah, awaiting on Jesus Christ--the Messiah, who has already saved us, so he will not come back to save us but to receive us unto himself.

never ignored any children or suffering here where I live, we are in every country around the world serving the hungry, the sick, the poor and the exploited.

well for me, as a believer in Jesus Christ, I have no doubts and never have. What makes a person become a Christian believer is the belieft that Jesus is the Christ(Messiah). So its not about allowing myself to question, it just is for my faith.

I am not sure about other religions or if they have a messiah or not, however.

and obviously u don`t know the other religions so how do u know urs is best? or are u just satisfied already? like a glass of water already so full that nothing more can be added into it?

 

my faith comes from Jesus Christ, my God. His word and understanding and believing it. belief in things not seen but understand deep in the core of ones being

 

i am completely content in my belief in my creator God, yes. I know about Judiasm, Hinduism, athiesm, paganism, islam, buddhism, some tribal religious beliefs, taoism.

None of those have I found understanding or faith in.

 

Is not Jesus the Christ as a PERSONALITY dead and gone. Yes he is. The PERSON that we know as Jesus was only a vehicle for the christ energy to manifest through. Jesus does not exist on this physical plane any longer and he shall never return, but when an individual/s raise their consciousness to a high enough level to be able to contain the high vibratory energy of God then he/she/they shall become a christ. God's energy cannot be FULLY contained inside of a human body, thus to call an individual the totality of God is incorrect. God is everything and all things but not a particular thing. Human beings are limited in their power because of the very fact that only a certain amount of energy can be encapsulated inside of a body. A human beings' body can only vibrate so high before it disintegrates and ceases to be matter thus allowing the full expression of Gods power.

I'm far from a holy man but because many "holy" books have been changed and currupted I think that it would be a good idea to study a wide variety of books of different religions and come up with your own philosophy of life because everyone is different and has a unique lesson to learn in life.

Man was made in God's likeness(Genesis) meaning having the same power as God but not at the same magnitude.

Ye are gods of the most high God(Numbers) meaning we are gods who share his power.

God is perfecting itself through it's imperfection(human beings)

Without imperfection there can be no perfection. How could God(spirit) know that it is perfect without a diametric opposition of itself, human beings(matter).

There is absolutely nothing that exist in this world that does not have a polar opposite and/or it's astral double. Words define the difference between one thing and another. To "know" something first there has to be the "knower" and the "known" because we live in a universe of duality.
If God is one, then how can it know itself if not through the faculties of it's matter equivalent(enlightened human beings) that shares it's power. In order for God to know that it's God WE MUST exist!! Without god-conscious beings to reflect it's power, God cannot know, God just is.

When God created the universe, "evil" was automatically created. Without evil how would we know that God is "good"

Maybe, just maybe, God and the devil are one and the same.

I remember watching the first Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder when I was younger and the entire movie had biblical implications to it. The kids I believe represented the seven deadly sins, they all were rich except Charlie who was very poor and humble(the meek should inherit the earth) who actual inherited the chocalate factory(the universe the gave life to the people), Many shall be called but few chosen(Charlie and the rest of the children) and a whole bunch of others that I might mention another time. Mr. Slugworth was the guy who was hating on Willy Wonka and tempting the kids and at the end of the movie when Willy and Charlie was celebrating him passing the tests, Mr. Slugwoth walks in and Charlie gets excited and says," Look, it's Mr.Slugworth" then Willy says, "No don't worry, HE WORKS FOR ME"
Willy Wonka was God and Mr. Slugworth was the devil. That movie was deep!!

Maybe Lucipher the "Light-bringer" is your TRUE redeemer!! Because without lucipher "rebelling" there would be no earth and no you!!


Think about it!! If the "devil" was really seperate from God then how could God control the devil. How could God check all of the evil is this world? If everything comes from God, could that mean that the potential for evil was always in God or God is also evil(the devil)?

 

Yes...like the Devil...or God, I never sleep...ok calm down folks, I didn`t say I was God or the Devil...

BUT man, Diamondlife u are taking it to another level...And It`s DAMN INTERESTING!!!!

But indeed, the Evil comes from God (and here we put ourselves in a Christian perspective, using Bible quotes, but it`s quite the same in all religions)...bcoz the Bible says ALL comes from Him!!!!

So what lessons should we learn from that fact?? Enlighten me fellas!!!

 

If "god" is the almighty creator of all beings/forces (material and spiritual) in the universe, along with the entire universe itself, then that concludes him to be the creator of all good and evil, so on that note, you might as well say that he truly is one in the same...

especially if you think about this. Without the polar opposite forces, how can right from wrong, (morality or immorality) be distinguished?

A lesson that I believe that we could learn from all of this is not to be fooled into believing that spirituality is when you are nice all of the time and turning the cheek even when there are forces that are constantly trying to destroy you. Most people have been taught that ANY kind of aggression is inherently evil thus making one indecisive and passive in life. Going to war is spiritual when you consider the fact that you are defending yourself from an entity who's trying to destroy your peaceful way of living.

We all must tap into the dark-side of the force when needed in order to deal with problems in life because we all know that PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS TRY YOU!!
I'm not saying that you have to be down-right sinister but sometimes you have to cut off emotions and compassion to get a job done.

There was an episode of the old Star Trek when Capt. Kirk's spirit was divided into two halves; a good, loving , compassionate Kirk and a sinister, rude, mean Kirk. The good Kirk tried to command the ship but he was too sissified, sensitive, flighty-minded and worry about hurting someones feelings that he could not make any decisions and some of the crew started loosing respect for him.
The other Kirk was so much of a jerk that people just did not like him.
So what I'm trying to say is that when it comes to ordinary human beings,no side is better that the other for practical purposes in everyday life.
There are spiritually balanced people that interact amongst each other and they are evolved enough to where they do not have to act ill towards one another.

In my opinion I think that what we need is balance.

Do not let the words "Good" and "Evil" fool you!!

For instance, there are voodoo priests, shamans, sorcerors ect. that can evoke DEMONS to heal the sick completely contrary to popular belief that the are only good for cursing.

Then those same spirit workers can evoke benelovent entities to do "seemingly" good things for you or things that you think that are good for you and you can suffer badly in the long run.

Let's say that there was a particular home that you wanted but everytime you tried to acquire the home something blocked your path. You go to spirit worker and ask him to get you that house and he uses a benevolent deity to do the job. You get the house but a week later a terrible fire engulfs the entire block and you lose the home.

There are very intelligent spiritualist in the occult world. Instead of sending a demon to make your life bad and having to suffer the consequences of the curse returning upon them, what they will do is send positive energy to you and make your life so enjoyable and pleasant that you will get complacent and careless to the point where you will make mistakes that will cause you to lose EVERYTHING that you have gained and some. Same objective different means and when the energy comes back on them it will be positive so that they will have nothing to fear.

I said that to say this, "Good and Evil is not what you think it is."

 

Your analysis reminds me of a conversation that I had with an Indonesian spiritualist online about the 2 polar opposites...

I was raised Southern Baptist and forced to go to church and on youth retreats etc. :evil:

Faith is blind, there is no DEFINITIVE evidence that the Bible was even written by God. It was written by man at least 60 YEARS after it happened! Who could honestly remember exactly what happened 60 years ago? and even if you could, everyone would have a different interpretation of the events that happened.

You talk to the air and the air never talks back. You worship something you can't even f*cking see.... I'm sorry, but if you believe in some story that sounds just like a fairytale or folklore, you need to be locked up in a psychiatric ward for life becuase you're insane. :roll:

Actually Courney, the earliest accounts of the books that became the bible were abour 20 to 30 years after the death of Christ. Not to get too Da Vinci Code on you, but my main problem has always been the Council of Nicea, where emperor Constantine presided over a meeting of religious leaders where the bible wasl literally constructed, some books included, some books excluded, and the divinity of Jesus was debated.
