Up until I was 15 I attended predominiately white schools, other than what I saw on tv and in the movies, I had very little exposure to other cultures and races. So being thrown into a mixed highschool really helped me grow and opened up my eyes. As I matured I learned to see beyond the color thing. I immediately began making friends of all hues and have indeed dated both white and black men. The main problem I have had is once you date black men, white men seemingly are unable to deal with it. They take it as a slap in the face to their race and I have been repeatedly challenged by it and it was not always pretty. A white women who dates black men seems to make white men insecure in their own skin and most cannot understand or accept it so they tend to hate. This may explain why so many white women do not go back to dating white men. Since I have grown I look at people for what they are and chose to be around those who are grown enough to respect me and provide me with the qualities I admire and need in my life. The rest of them I can live without.... :smt109

    greeneyes27 and JREMINATOR,

Apparently the 2 of you misunderstand the purpose of this thread, since it was placed in the correct forum, and misread my original message in here, which didn't imply anything the both of you said.

I'm not the stereotypical "you never go back"-person. I can feel attracted to any race/color/cultural inheritage/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. I just prefer black men, like some men prefer women with big breasts or long legs or a well-shaped butt...

I've been with men from Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan, Turkey, Yugoslavia, Russia, Sweden, Gambia, Ghana, USA... Some white, some black, some... in the middle. :)
