See that is the thing about black dudes, we vary as heck across the spectrum.

Some cats are immersed in the "thug" wannabe lifestyle and don't seem to want to give it up, others see that shit for what it is and avoid it like the plague knowing there is a wider world out there for them.

The thing I take pride in as a black man is you can put me in the middle of Greenwich, Connecticut or Newark, New Jersey and I will be comfortable and not feel out of place either way.

In other words I grew up in the ghetto but expanded my horizons well beyond that frame of existence as a man, along with the things that interest and motivate me in life.

 

I wouldn't be surprised considering all the white men that are into hip hop culture and not black women and hell there is a considerable amt that are even racist but still into it.

I prefer the artsy types, into cultures, travel, museums, independent films etc. Those are the kind of white women that stimulate this brotha.

 

LOL, very true, that always been my approach. There are far more white women than black men in America. Plenty of beautiful women that allows one to find a real cool one.

What's with this "down with culture" shit anyway?

One of my favorite albums is The Velvet Underground and Nico, an album that focuses on drug use, prostitution and BDSM. I can listen to that album all day long without having any intention of ever taking heroin or using bondages and whips. I want nothing to do with that culture.

One of my favorite movies is Pulp Fiction. That doesn't mean I want to be a hitman when I grow up.


A white girl can enjoy black culture all day long without ever wanting to participate in it, I see nothing wrong with that. Look at the bigger picture before you're so quick to judge someone.
