The fact of the matter is that the racist stereotypes of black men are perpetuated by the white media and since whites are in power everybody is buying into this. Jaydun and Flame, please understand that the majority of the world is a bunch of brain dead, il-logical, matrix-manipulated, borg drone, government puppets that do not have the capacity, cognitive ability and/or the desire to think objectively when it comes to things like this.

In my opinion, it is a waste of time trying "too much" to convince women that there are black men who do not fit the negative stereotypes that are out there. I live about 20 minutes from New York City so I'm in the city almost everyday and I can tell you from my observation at the very least it is not easy for black men in the IR department. The Latinas as a whole are a little apprehensive about dating american black men because most are very family and culturally oriented and add to it the racist views they are very hard to get with. The white women in New York IMO are not as hard to approach and to get to know.

In my experience the only time IR "hookups" happen easily without all of the usual tension and drama between black men and other races is in the work place ESPECIALLY if the brother has a professional job. She can then find out everything about him as well as get to know him in a neutral
setting without having to commit. The majority of my friends and associates who successfully date IR time and time again do so in profession settings.

I think that the best thing to do for a black man in America to do if he doesn't want to put up with all of the drama and having the burden of trying to disprove all of the stereotypes is to move to another country for a few years. As talked about in a number of threads many of times, black men get a lot better treatment in a lot of foreign countries than they do here.

Where did you see his photo? People like this can't even maintain solid relationships with those they slavishly adore. They also emit an odor to repel blacks but signal whites they are there for them exclusively. I doubt if Civic is even comfortable with BM who do not share his fantasy. Some BW are like him too. We don't all have to march lockstep with each other, but people like that are kinda sad. When they perceive an entire demographic of their own race as worthless it's more a reflection of what they actually feel about themselves.
